It's December 23rd 2021 I'm now at the 18 week mark in my pregnancy I can't believe I'm nearly half way there I've been enjoying pregnancy now , I'm waring a burgundy coloured dress which hugs my bump with a pair of black boots and black fur coat to keep me warm , I've been in touch with jack a few times in the last week we have been texting regularly asking how I am and I love it when he calls so I can listen to his voice , a few people have had to go into the Etihad to fill out a few things including myself I go up to my office after I've filled out some forms and skimmed through my emails and collected a few things from my office desk I'm just packing up from when I hear that voice "hello my baby" jacks strong brummie accent echoes around my office he checks me out in my dress he gently strokes his hand over the fabric of my dress as he feels my bump from the top and he runs his hand down underneath and gently playfully squeezing it slight "and hello to you my babe" he gently plants me a kiss on the side of my head
"Nice of you to acknowledge me" Chloe says jokingly with a giggle I put some files on her desk
"I can't believe ya have actually got a bump , it's solid now Chloe" jack kisses she once again
"Yeah it's getting so real now" Chloe looks down at her bump with jacks hand placed in the middle of it "it's weird you know jack I know know what it look and feel like to be pregnant and not have some food baby" Chloe laughs
Jack laughs at her "have you eaten today bab ?" He leans back on her desk
Chloe looks at him I'm they eyes "yes I had some granola this morning and I got a jacket potato form the canteen with cheese and beans on"
"Good stuff you need to eat more now bab , Wot about snacks what snacks you had" jack still leaning against the desk
"I had a banana with my Granola this morning that's it" Chloe puts some files on a filing cabinet she turns to see jack
"Wot is that it bab your pregnant ok your supposed to eat more even if it is a bit of junk food and ya haven't even had anything today" jack looks at her in disbelieve
"I'm trying not to each much jack I don't want to pile of the weight or eat unhealthy" Chloe looks at jack who feels like crying
"Bab come here" jack stands up and opens his arms and Chloe walks to him and embraces him and places her head into his chest "Ya don't need to worry about putting on weight it happens your having a baby ok you need to look after yourself to look after the baby ok so if that means you indulging in some sweets then do it ok" jack kisses her forehead
Chloe looks up at him and they let go of each other jack walks to the door "wait where are you going ?" Chloe looks at him
"To get you something wait here I won't be long promise" jack walks out there door leaving Chloe alone in her office
Chloe walks over to her reclining chair in her office and leans back and lets out a sigh and rubs her bump "what are we going to do with your daddy huh" Chloe says out loud and she waits for jack to come back which he soon does "where have you been ?" Chloe is still laid in the reclining chair
Jack walks in holding a bunch of Chocolate "look and what I've got" he shakes the big chocolate bars in his hand and puts them all apart form one in Chloe's bag and he places the bar on Chloe's bump "there ya go Bab theres a few different ones for you to snack on
"Diary milk one or my favourites i loved this as a child , but jack these are sharing bars you know and you have put how ever many more in my bag" Chloe looks at jack standing over her
"Ya I know half for ya self and half for the baby" jack smirks at her making Chloe grin
Chloe looks out the window it's dark outside , dark cold and windy she shuffles up the chair when jack helps her up gently "thank you I should be going now do you want to do anything tomorrow like see each other before Christmas we could spend some time together if you want" Chloe looks at jack his hair flopping down
"I'd like that bab I should be too long and I'm going home as-well got my fresh bedding on the maid has done it for me" jack looks so happy at Chloe
"Your maid you wouldn't survive on your own honestly" Chloe laughs
Jack laughs at her "I know I wouldn't come on bab let's get you home" jack walks over to the chair and gets Chloe's coat , helps her get it on and wraps it around her and gives her handbag to her they walk down to the door together before parting separate ways
Chloe walks out into the car park it's a bitter cold outside the wind feels like it could cut her In two she hurry's over to her bmw and gets in it's not much warmer in the car than out she tries to start the car when the engine splutters she pops the hood gets out of the car and checks the engine she looks around but doesn't know what it could be she puts the hood back down and gets her belongings form her car and heads to the nearest bus stop. There is no one else there just the whistling of the cold and lonely wind she decides to take out one of the chocolate bars jack gave her and starts to eat it. Chloe checks the bus routes the bus which will get her closer to home there is one due in a hour she checks the time 20:00pm even when the bus arrives it will be half 21:30 before she even gets off then has to walk a mile home she sits and waits for 30 mints when jack slowly drives past and stops and rolls down his window
"BAB what are you doing out here it's freezing" jack looks at Chloe with a worried facial expression
Chloe stands up and slowly walks to jacks side car window "there is something wrong with my car it won't start and I'm waiting for a bus"
Jack looks at Chloe torn "ok we'll when's the bus due" jack leans over closer to Chloe who is visible uncomfortable
"It's due in thirty minutes then it will take another thirty minutes to get close enough to my house" Chloe looks at jack in his car
"Ok so the bus drops you round the corner form your house then what it's a short walk home is that it" jack looks at Chloe seriously who looks like she is going to break down
"Well actually no it will drop me off close as to my house then I will have a mile walk home" chloe is in bits
"YA FUCKING WHAT ..... A MILE HOME?" Jack looks at Chloe who is on the verge of tears "ya not walking a mile home not with my baby chloe get in" jack looks at chloe
Chloe gets in next to jack who immediately puts the car window up and pulls the seat belt round and puts it on for Chloe making sure it's not too tight on her belly "right your stopping with me tonight bab anything could of happened to you at this time of the night you don't know who's out there" jack starts to drive to his apartment
"Thank you jack this means a lot" chloe holds her hands out against the heating in jacks car and cradles her bump
"Don't thank me Chloe your the mother of my Child" jack continues to drive to his apartment
Chloe takes out the remainder of one of the chocolate bars jack bought her "enjoy that are we bab" jack looks over at her and smiles
"Yeah it was nice thank you for that and the others you got me" Chloe puts the wrapper in her bag
Jack takes Chloe's hand "it's fine I've not been done long just had a play with a football indoors to finish off the day before the next match"
Chloe is sat listening to jack when the baby starts to kick and roll around in her belly "speaking of football...." Chloe takes Jacks hand and makes a opening in her coat and puts jacks hand through it and gently on her belly "looks like someone is practicing there already" Chloe looks at jack who's face lights up at the feeling for the baby moving he steady's his hand on his steering wheel while keeping his hand on Chloe's belly feeling the baby kick "I love you both so much let's get ya home" jack and Chloe continue to jacks apartment both of them happy and enjoying the moment
