Part 4

I woke up embraced in Peters Arms. It was dark outside so i knew it wasn't time to get up yet but i could not sleep. I have these days where i will wake up at a random time in the night and not be able to go back to sleep. Today was one of them days. I turned to the side and seen peter had a clock by the side of his bed and it read 4.37am. Ugh hate my life.

I slowly got up and placed one of peters hoodies on and walked out of the room. I was dying for a drink so i walked down the stairs. Luckily the person who made this compound was smart enough to write the number of the floor and what was on it. So for example floor three was the kitchen and sitting room. Exactly what i wanted. I could of taken the lift but no thanks i hate them.

When i arrived at the floor i walked straight to the fridge and poured myself orange juice. I walked to the window and i could faintly see the sun rising.

"What are you doing up this early?" I hear Tonys voice.

"Oh hey. One of them days yanno. What about you? Why are you up so early?" I ask.

"Why am i up so late you mean. I never sleep" he says pouring himself a glass of orange juice.

"Oh how come?" I ask.

"Dreams. Ever since The new York fight and things its been hard" he says.

I know it was hard for him. I was there. I was actually on their side fighting this greasy haired god. I was suited up though so they couldn't tell who i was. Nobody knows where the 'shining star' went. Yeah apparently i was called the shining star when i was suited up. For what reason i dont know.

"Oh I'm sorry. That was mad. I wont talk about it though" i say and i turn back to the window.

"You know my lab has an amazing view of the Sun rise i sit there pottering with my suits and watch it every morning. Its relaxing" he says.

"Can i see?" I ask.

"Yeah sure. Follow me" he says.

I follow his lead and he leads me to a lift.

"Is there stairs?" I ask.

"Uh yeah over there. Why?" he asks confused.

"Need to keep my steps up" i lie. I dont want to tell him that im scared of lifts.

"Oh okay. I will walk with you" he says.

I leave him go first and i smile. Why am i feeling butterflies with this man. I cant. I shouldn't he is my boyfriends dad but I really cant help it. He reaches the door and he places his finger on the key pad and it beeps him in. He walks in and i follow.

"Dios mío" i say as i walk in.

"What?" He asks

"Oh sorry. It means oh my god" i laugh.

"You speak french?" He asks.

"No. Spanish i was born in Spain with my mum then we moved here. My mum suffered with her heart and the best hospitals were in new York thats why we moved here" i say.

"Im sorry about what happened with your mum" he says

I sit down on the chair and i look out the window trying to avoid his question.

"You know i wish peter introduced you before. You seem like a lovely girl and you could of moved here with us. We could of been your family" he says taking a seat next to me.

I could feel my tears building up and I didn't want them too but I couldn't stop them. I wipe them away but they just kept coming.

"Come here sweetheart" he says.

He pulls me into him and i feel my head hit a hard thing on his chest. It was nice to feel loved though. I know peter hugs me but this i dont know I shouldn't say it but i am. This feels better and right.

"Whats this?" I ask pulling away and tapping his chest.

"Thats an arc reactor" he says.

"Whats it for?" I ask.

"I got shot a couple of years back. I got kidnapped and a man called Ho put a car battery on my heart basically its hard to explain but i made this to power my heart and to power the suits" he says.

"Does it hurt?" I ask worried.

"No not really. Gives me jip. Keep having to change it all the time due to it causing problems to my heart but its okay. Hey look" he says pointing out the window.

I look out and the most beautiful sky ever shone in my face. Pink orange and red. I normally see sun sets but hardly i see sun rises. My eyes I couldn't stop looking at it. I felt tony go from my side and i hear him pottering around. I cant believe i cried on his chest. Its the third time seeing him and i have already cried on his chest.

I turn around and i could see he was struggling so i went over and held the suit for him.

"Woah you are strong for your age" he says.

"Im eighteen stark. Living on my own for years. I think i can manage" i laugh.

I help him for around nearly three hours. Turns out he is very fun to be around. Maybe to fun. I don't want to stop. He loves the music i love. He is really funny and i cant help but stare at him. He is gorgeous.

I hear the beep of the door and peter walks in.

"Hey dad. Hey baby" he says walking up to me and kissing my cheek.

"Hey kid" tony says.

"What are you doing down here?" Peter asks me taking a seat on Tony's seat.

"Couldn't sleep your dad told me that the sun rise is beautiful down here so i came to see and it was. Then i helped him" i say.

"Oh okay. Me ned and MJ are heading out for breakfast wanna come?" Peter asks.

"I better not. Im not that hungry anyway i think i will head home. Maybe another day" i say.

"Okay i will walk you out. Dad see you later" peter says.

"Wait can i have a word with Callie a minute?" Tony asks.

"Uh yeah sure. Meet you upstairs" peter says kissing my lips.

He walks out and tony walks up to me while wiping his oily hands in a rag.

"Are you okay now?" He asks.

"Yeah speaking about my mum is a sensitive topic. Im okay" i say smiling lightly.

"Okay. Well if you ever need me or anyone to talk to you know where i am" he says.

"Thank you Tony it means a lot" i say.

"No worries sweetheart and you are welcome to this compound anytime you like" he says.

"Thank you" i smile.

"See you again" he smiles back.

I head out of the room and walk up to see peter. He asks me if im okay and i say yes and just say that tony was asking me if i would go to the compound again. I didn't want to tell peter i was crying on his chest. Thats weird. He walks me out to my car and i drive back to the apartment and i lay on the sofa and close my eyes. I need sleep.
