Giyuu's Younger Sister: Demon Slayer X Reader

(Chapter 1) Cruelty

Y/n pov:

My brother and I was running through the woods, no footsteps were heard throughout the snowy moutain. Me and him are both pillars.

My sister had died when I was around 3 years old due to a demon, I forget the appearance of the demon since I was 3. Ever since then, my brother had been taking care of me, and kinda overprotective.

Giyuu, my older brother, was the water pillar, while I was the ice pillar. luckily because of that, the  cold of the windy moutain didn't bother me as much.

2 people that I used to know died to a demon in the final selection. Sabito and makomo. We both wear sabitos haori as half of our haori, giyuu has the other half. I also wear a c/o/y/c (color or your choice) on the other half of my haori.

Anyway, yeah so me and my brother was running to a demon we sensed. Even worse, I also sensed a human near.

"giyuu, I sense a human near the demon." I say, while we're both still running.

"Nice job, we better get there fast, and remember, don't go off to far from me." Giyuu told me, even though I was a Pillar and could fight for myself, this was a frequent thing when we're paired on missions together.

The demon was on top of that boy. Why is she crying... somethings not right, but I have to kill the demon.

I had a nice hit on the demon that wouldn't harm the boy. Right before I could hit her, the boy protected her with himself. I position my sword to not harm him. They both roll and ran into a tree.

"Why are you protecting it." Giyuu asks, "she's my sister! I was taking her to get help!" The burgundy haired boy said.

My brother looks at me and nods. I quickly made my way to the both of them snatching the demon girl. He didn't notice at first, before he never felt her in his hands.

"NEZUKO!" The boy yells, "don't move." I told him, while pointing the sword a little his direction. he listened to me. The demon girl was trapped as I held her arms together behind her back.

"Our job is to destroy every demon out there which means, she has to decapitate your sister here." Giyuu says to the boy

"No wait! She hasn't harmed anyone! Back at home there was another scent! I'd never smelt before, thats the one that killed my family! Nezuko didn't do it!! I don't know why she changed into something like that but still-!" Tanjiro was cut off by giyuu

"It's really quite simple, she's turned because her wounds were exposed to demon blood, that's how the man-eating monsters multiply." Giyuu explained to him.

"Nezuko would never eat a human!" The boy yelled,
"you must be joking, If we didn't get here when we did, she would've devoured you." Tomioka stated, which at the time, I agreed.

"She wouldn't hurt me! She knows I'm her big brother. I won't let her hurt anyone ill change her back to human! I'll heal her.."

"You can't heal a demon.. Once their turned, they'll never turn back." Giyuu tells him.

Small time skip:

I position my sword to the girl's throat as the boy yells.

"please don't do this! Don't.. don't take anyone else away from me..." he was facing to the ground on all fours.

Tiny Time skip:

I put my sword into position, and stabbed it threw the female demons chest

The boy decides to throw a rock at me, I quickly blocked it with my sword handle. 

The wind picked up, making the snow blow into the view of the boy, then I saw him running into the forest.

He throws another rock, before it hit me, giyuu caught it and dropped it onto the ground.

He charges at me, with the hatchet in his hand, whenever he was a few inches from me I hit a certain place of his neck with my sword handle which knocked him out.

"Where's the hatchet?" I ask myself, I look up and see it coming right for my head, before it hit me, I put my head to the side making it only hit the tree.

The person I know now as Nezuko kicked me away and ran to the boy, reaching out her hand. I thought she was about to kill him before She gets infront of the boy in a protecting position.

She charged our direction, "y/n stay behind me." Tomioka told me, I did as he says. he knocked her out with his hand

Time skip to when there awake:

"You awake?" Giyuu asks, as the boy's eyes opened "get to mount sigiri as soon as possible, my sister will lead you to an old man named sakonji urokadaki, when you find him tell him giyuu and y/n tomioka sent you, it's cloudy right now, so she seems to be alright. never let her be exposed to sunlight." He tells the boy

He kneels down to my level "y/n, once urokadaki sends him to final selection, if that happens, come to me. If you need anything you know where to find me." Tomioka says "Okay. Love you giyuu." I hugged him "love you too."

With that he stands up and goes to i assume head quarters

I turn my attention to the boy who greets me, "hello my name is tanjiro kamado, I know you tried to kill my sister but i think we should be friends!" He says, "Tomioka y/n." I tell him, "well then, are you ready to go to urokadaki?" I ask. "wait, can we go back to my house for a minute? it won't take long." Tanjiro asks, "sure." ,

We walk to his house, and he does a burial for his family that mustve been killed by Kibutsuji, there was a decent amount of young kids there.

We were both in a praying stance
"Let's go." Tanjiro says We both get up and I lead the way to urokadaki.

Time skip:

Tanjiro was holding a knife ready to kill the demon we found during trying to get to Urokadaki, "Tanjiro you can't use a knife..." I tell him.

Urokadaki then shows up behind him, "that knife isn't gonna do the job." He tells Tanjiro

Time skip:

Once he was burned by the sun, and then urokadaki held a burial for the people who got killed. I waited until they were done talking with nezuko.

We were all running, I was alongside urokadaki as Tanjiro was back there somewhere, "so y/n how's your life?" He asks "well... I became a hashira, the ice pillar." I replied.

"That's nice to hear." He says as we made it to Urokadaki's house.

I mostly spent my time with Urokadaki, talking to him before I had to go back to headquarters.

I also watched Tanjiro silently in the trees, I remember each and every one of the traps that was set off.

I kinda hope he doesn't make it to the final selection... who knows what could happen.
