In The Moment

Chapter 2

"Isabelle? Isabelle! Time to get up" my mom yelled through my door

I barely opened my eyes, but they shut quickly.I was not ready to get up.

A few minutes later, I felt an icy cold liquid fall on my body.

"Mom!" I opened my eyes and saw my mom and my little sister Grace standing there with a bucket of water in their hands, grinning.

"Yes sweetie?"
"Ugh, mom. Leave! I am getting up"

They left my room and I got out of my bed and walked to my vanity and put on my makeup and freshened up.

Then I walked to my closet and picked out my outfit for today.

I pulled out a gray crop top that said young, wild and free and some AWESOME galaxy shorts.
I also got out my favorite low top white converse to tie it all together.

I unplugged my phone and walked down the steps.
I warmed up a pancake and sat down at the table.

"So Isabelle, are you ready for the first day of school?" My mom asked

"No, not really." I replied

She gave me an awkward look so I got up from the table and went to get my bag.

"Bye mom" I said
"Bye honey! Have a great day"

I rolled my eyes and walked out of the front door to the bus stop. Ugh school.

~At School~
Once I got to school we all had to get in line to get our schedules.

While I was waiting in line, I saw a really cute guy standing in the line next to me.

He had perfect brown hair, beautiful hazel-green eyes, and great muscles.

Maybe school wouldn't be so bad after all.
