Make Up, Or Break Up

Maris grew up in a close knit family, she had an older brother Raymond, a twin brother Marcel and a younger sister Bailey. Their parents were Alpha Warren and Luna Bella.

Their pack consisted of 200 pack members all of which loved her parents. They were kind and strong leaders of the pack until our borders were taken by surprise and we were attacked.

That day our Alpha was taken down and 20 warriors and guards died. Dad was in the infirmary, while mom stayed with him. Raymond took over as temporary Alpha because he has been training for this.

The pack Beta Carl was at Raymond's side helping, while the Beta's mate Lucy took over Luna responsibilities.

Two months later, dad died from his injuries and mom slowly declined until she passed on too. Raymond took over with Beta Carl and Lucy as acting Luna.

Two years later, Bailey who was now 15 started to sleep around. She also started rumors blaming me for enticing the rogues to attack. Soon, the pack turned on Maris and they started to shun her.

Marcel was forever telling people that Bailey had lied, but by then, nothing helped. By the time I turned 18 I found my mate, but he was Bailey's current sex partner Nick, who just happens to be the Beta's son and he did not want to claim her yet.

So Maris went to university until he changed his mind. The university was only one town over but in travelling time too far away to travel daily.

She rented a small apartment in the town the university was in and came home on the weekends to be with family. She only came home because Nick and Bailey never rubbed their relationship in her face.

But the last month of her first year things changed. They started to flaunt their relationship, Bailey now wore a ring that was from Nick, who told everybody they were getting married.

Seeing that, Maris rejected Nick in front of family and friends. Bailey threw a fit but was told to shut up by Raymond.

Raymond then removed Nick from qualifying for the next Beta position and I moved out of family's home and resigned from the pack because Bailey had started to spread more rumors. This time that I had gotten pregnant at a party and didn't know who it was. Then moved out to have the baby but it died at birth and found out her mate and he rejected her.

So Maris moved to her small apartment and continued to go to school. Marcel visited every weekend until he found his mate Sunny, she was visiting the pack and then he stopped visiting all together and seemed to shun her as well.

Maris continued to go to school until she graduated with the highest honors the school ever gave out. The werewolf council was so impressed, they hired her.

But when the council started to hear the rumors about Maris being spread throughout the werewolf council, they confronted her. She was stunned, no amount of talking to them changed their minds, she did the only thing she could. She had three council doctors do a physical exam proving she was innocent and then quit.

She shoved all her hate into her confrontation with them all, telling them the truth and blaming the rumors on a very spiteful angry person. She did not say Bailey's name only pointing them in her direction when she added this person has been sleeping with her mate for years, the one she had to reject because he was planning to marry the other female as well.

After the confrontation Maris packed her bags and put all her remaining belongings into storage. She was visited by the top Alpha named Harrison, from England and offered a new job. She agreed to a trial period of three months and at the end of the first three months she accepted the full time job.
