I finished a novella! And I had sixty words left.
Honestly, I expected to struggle staying under 40K. I realised that Lani and Anya's story was not merely worthy of a novella when they only entered Azaevelum in Chapter Twelve, but I kept writing anyway.
I'm going to finish this story over at least two more novellas, and fill in the 'holes' (Lani's instruction to 'look out for Rieta', for instance) along the way.
Don't expect a continuation starting any time soon. I have my GCSEs coming up, and I should really have been revising... this entire time.
But I decided finishing this was going to be a quick thing, since whatever the opposite of writer's block hit hard during my Easter holidays. And it kinda was.
When I say 'don't expect a continuation any time soon', I'm gonna admit that I probably mean mid-to-late-June. Last exam date is the 23rd of June, so... who knows?
(Also, I'm going to probably add some Picrews of the characters, but don't expect that immediately.)
