Kokichi's Sanity

The end

The body still hadn't been found, and it's been about three days, you still felt extremely guilty after what you done and you had to go back to school tomorrow, you had no appetite whatsoever and you didn't get alot of sleep. And worse of all, you still weren't friends with Sayaka, Mikan or Angie, all you thought about all day was the incident that had happened.

You decided to get your life together and do something productive, you gor ready and went out on a walk during the afternoon, you visit a park but as you're walking, you hear something coming from the bushes, like a ruffling sound. You turn around in confusion and stare at the bush for a few seconds as it just goes quiet. You shrug it off and carry on walking as a few minutes later you hear loud footsteps coming from behind, yet again you turn around, but nothing was there. You arrive back home about an hour later as you had a nap for the rest of the day and woke up the next morning for school.

You messaged on the group chat with the girl's " Please, meet me behind the school at 8:15am, i need to tell you all something." Message sent. Hoping the girls would be there, you turn your phone off and put it to the side as you brush your hair for school. A few minutes later, " Ding!" You look to your phone to see a message occured from Sayaka " Alright." She replied, you were guessing the other girls were gonna be there too.

You arrive at the meeting place at 8:15am as you wait for one minute and see the three girls walk up to you with dirty looks on their faced, stood there staring at you. " Okay, i'm here to say i've took some time to think about what i did and you girls were right, i'm deeply sorry about everything i did and betrayed you, i'm apologising to you and i really mean it, you guys are my best friends and always have been, please forgive me." You said with an innocent smile towards the girls. Mikan and Angie gave you a smile as they ran up to you and hugged you. You notice Sayaka still daydreaming not hugging you. " Sayaka?" You asked. She stopped zoning out and looked up to you. She walked over to you and the girl's and gave you a hug too. " I'm so glad we are all friends again!" Angie said. You all smiled as you walked to school together and got to class. You knew you could never mention what happened to Kokichi. A few classes pass, at lunchtime you and the girls were chit chatting about so and so while eating your food. Moments pass, " So, what happened with Kokichi then?" Sayaka mumbled as she was chewing the food in her mouth. Your heart drops in fear. You take a quick deep breath and cover up with some excuse " I spoke to him and told him I never wanted to see him again." I said while avoiding all eye contact and eating my food right after.
" I'm so glad y/n you finally realised he wasn't right for you, y/n!" Angie says in a positive tone. " Y-yeah.. we really m-missed you.." Mikan said with a soft smile. I forced a light smile as I could never forget the crime I had commit deep down inside my soul.
