2 MONTHS LATER

"Zee... I'm so glad that they found the real killer." Gulf said and took a seat facing Zee.
"Me too... I'm sorry for making you worried Mom." Zee smiled at his mother.
"I am just happy that I have both my boys with me." She patted Zee's hand.
"I feel sorry for her family... Who would have thought that the brother was the one behind her death?" She whispered.
"When you're an addict... Your judgement can be clouded by your addiction." Zee shared while Gulf nodded his head.
"We've seen that countless times when we were growing up in Chiang Rai." He continued and started eating dinner.
"As much as I hated Father back then... His money did help us leave that seedy area and send you and I to very good schools Gulf. If not... I can't imagine where will we be right now." Zee murmured.
"I will still be doctor while you could be in jail." Gulf remarked and he laughed when Zee rolled his eyes.
"Or dead..." Their mother muttered.
"Hey... Don't say that Mom." Zee looked bewildered.
"You were such a wild child!" His mother complained.
"I was and I am not saying no... But look at where I am right now..." Zee smiled at her.
"Zee... Mom hasn't forgiven you for the big ass tattoo you have." Gulf teased and put a piece of grilled pork on his mother's plate.
"She HAS forgiven me." Zee argued.
"Are you sure?" Gulf needled him.
"Mom... You've forgiven me right?" Zee immediately asked his mother.
"I haven't decided on that." His mother murmured and Gulf laughed.
"Mom! It was years ago!" Zee stated indignantly.
"The thing is still there... Isn't it?" His mother grumbled.
"Fine... Fine... You have your good son... Forget about me." Zee glared at Gulf.
"I will forgive you when you give me grandchildren."
"Huh?" Zee was caught off guard.
"Grandchildren? Where did THAT come from?" He questioned her.
"You ARE 30!"
"I am 29..."
"At that is very close to 30." His mother argued.
"Why don't you ask Gulf to give you grandchildren? He is the one currently dating someone." Zee blurted.

Gulf's eyes narrowed at his brother.

"You are?" Their mother's attention was suddenly on Gulf.

Zee grinned happily as Gulf continued to scowl at him.

"Who is the lucky man Honey?" His mother queried.
"Someone I met about 2 months ago."
"Is he a nice man?"
"Yes... But I still am not sure how serious our relationship is... We've just started seeing each other." Gulf explained.
"I just want you to be happy... If he causes you any problems... Tell Zee about him..."
"Mom... I am a grown man." Gulf huffed.
"I know dear... I know... But you are our baby after all." She smiled at Gulf.
"Oh no... He is YOUR baby... He is MY dumbass!" Zee joked and ducked his head when his mother tried smacking him.
"Language! No wonder nobody wants you!"

Gulf laughed at what his mother said.

"He did meet someone in Phuket but I guess he chased him... Or her away like always." Gulf taunted Zee.
"He's just too young..." Zee mumbled.
"Like how young?" His mother queried.
"21." Zee told his mother.
"What's wrong with that?" His mother questioned him.
"My thoughts exactly." Gulf nodded.
"He's not interested in me." Zee shared.
"That's because you ALWAYS... ALWAYS play video games!" His mother shook her head.
"What does that have anything to do with anything?" Zee argued.
"You bore him." His mother replied and Gulf laughed.
"I don't BORE him." Zee groaned.
"That's why he's not interested in you." His mother insisted.
"You play too much video games that he thinks you don't like him." His mother nagged.
"Mom... I don't play video games now... Not like I was younger." Zee stated in exasperation and took a sip of water.
"Video games are bad for you!" His mother muttered.
"I have created many of them!" Zee stated.
"And you play them too... Not good!" She replied.
"I told you those things would spoil your eyes... You're the only one in our family who has spectacles on." His mother pointed at the spectacles Zee had on.
"That's not the reason why I have them on Mom..." Zee replied and did not continue as they had the conversation numerous times before.
