Shrinking Hopper

Chapter 2

(Unknown Facility: Sapporo, Hokkaido: 3:30 PM)

A middle-aged Caucasian man in a dark business suit with a red shirt and a velvet tie underneath. He was being aided by some guards where a Japanese scientist served as a translator to the visitor. They were walking on the hallway and heading themselves into a maximum security area. The guards tapped the passcode to open the heavily sealed door.

The door was opened which it revealed a containment room. The man was offered a seat to talk to another mutant. A voice spoke seeming to come from all over the room at once. It did not sound like a speaker system but as if it was coming from right in front of the visitor.

" Be advised, visitor. Do not get too close to subjects as I may not be able to protect you fast enough. Were you briefed on visitor protocol? " the cold unfeeling voice asked calmly.

" Yes, I just need to talk to a fellow mutant here for a very important business, " the man stressed in his heavy German accent and referred to the human-lizard mutant hybrid from the clear fiberglass window who was peacefully sitting inside the contaiment room. " Mind if I could make more time in this one? "

The voice spoke with slight surprise, " Your manners are rather impeccable, sir. If all has been reviewed, then you are cleared for chatting. Experiment 52, you have a guest."

" Very well, " he politely smiled and replied. Then, he turned to the mutant, " I am very pleased to meet you. My name is Erik Lensherr. You can call me, Magneto. "

The lizard hybrid opened his eyes his yellow slit pupils glowing ominously as he was pleased to meet his visitor from the window. Magneto was crossing his arms and waiting for the fellow mutant to respond.

" What business do you have with me, Magneto-san? You may call me, Upscale the lizard knight, " he replied in an accent that was oddly old school sounding almost medieval.

" It's a very important work, indeed. I have heard Mr. Rihito Isshiki's work about nano-technology which led this entire globe into a ruckus by setting up a doomsday cult, a couple of months ago. I want something different since your handlers told me that you can shrink into impossibility, " Magneto answered and clasped his hands. " By means of nano-scale, I take it, Upscale-san? "

Upscale grinned evilly, " Not just shrink, I can grow to a big...giant Kaiju status. Breath fire and claw with poison. I come in big and small packages alike, Magneto-sama."

" Impressive. Can you show it to me? "

Uspcale chuckled as his body began to get taller and his tail growing spikes. His claws was beginning to drip a foul purple fluid which burned the floor slightly. Suddenly, it glowed blue and forced to shrink back to normal, causing him evident pain.

" Damn monitor TT, " he muttered annoyed and sighed.

" My! This is fascinating! " the German mutant exclaimed in awe. " It is really evident! This is exactly what I want from you! "

The cold voice spoke again, " Experiment 52, I warned you about power use in the facility. Growing is for outside only."

Upscaled heard the voice again and rolled his eyes in annoyance which he never wanted to be scolded by his handlers. Meeting with Magneto meant something important for him: his freedom from control. He curiously looked at Magneto and waited for his response.

" It's all right, mein freund. I have chosen him to assassinate someone else, " he said to the speaker voice.

" Do you intend to take Experiment 52 outside the facility for work and have the paperwork from the higher ups for that? "

" Yes, I will take him under my wing, " Magneto nodded and showed some pictures of the young light brunette CEO and his armored alter-ego to the mutant." Do you know this man, Upscale-san? "

Upscale nodded angrily his eyes narrowing in rage, " Yes, I know him. The boss wants him dead..has for awhile. He has been deemed a threat by my boss."

" Hiden Aruto or Kamen Rider Zero One, a former comedian who aspires to be like Tony Stark of the Avengers. This man's grandfather created the humanoids called Humagears, however that brat has been so successful in continuing it. Yet, the Satellite Ark's agent corrupted him to be Ark One. In our work together, we will not let him to be corrupted. I want him dead as I plan to take down Xavier and the others. Aruto has a potential to ally with them very soon. "

Upscale thought trying to remember and memorize all the details which TT had revealed to him during his time in the cell. It was oddly making sense now as everything Magneto had explained lined up perfectly.

" Then, my lord. What is your plan to deal with this threat? "
he asked bowing on one knee.

" At first, we shall observe his actions for now, but since you can shrink. I want you to penetrate and make him stumble before you kill him, " he grinned.

" Well, then. I am sick and tired of staying in this dismal cell. The death of a superhero is what I have been longing to do. "

" Perfect, let's begin on this one. "
