Chapter 2

It seemed as if everyone's friends and family had arrived so Austin and Ally decided to start. Ally walked onto stage and introduced Ryan and Austin, who would start off the night with their dance. They were really good! Everyone was amazed that after one week he was able to dance so well. After they were done Ally introduced the next girl who would be playing her violin. After about eight more kids had gone ally introduced Mia as the final act. Mia sang the song,"The Me That You Don't See," which happened to be by Ally, so Mia was able to get some really good tips on it. After Mia sang she went off the stage and started to think about what she would do once she left Friends and Family Night. She seemed to be very hungry.

As Ally ended the night by having all the students come up and take a bow everyone started to file out. Ally was exhausted. She had had a long day! She had worked very hard to prepare for friends and family night. She was glad she could finally relax. Tomorrow her mom was coming back and she wanted to be well-rested and ready. Her mom was supposed to get there right after Mia's lesson. Tomorrow would have to be perfect for her mom. Ally had missed her so much. Last time her mom had come home Ally had overcome her stage fright. Ally had sang "You Can Come to Me" with Austin. Ally was standing on stage at her mom's release party. Austin was by her side and she had everyone supporting her. It is one of the most important moments of her life. This time when her mom comes back Ally is going to have a big concert and show her mom how much she has grown since last time.

Her mom will be so proud of her! She decided that before she could do anything she has to get a good night's sleep. She got her pajamas on and brushed her teeth. She climbed into bed and drifted off to sleep. She hadn't realized how tired she was until now. She thought it would take her a while to get to sleep but she drifted off instantly. Now that the day was ending tomorrow was close. This also meant her mom was close. That was all she cared about.
