It was finally Friday, and I was currently on the way to the office with two coffees in a carrier. When Mr. Jeong mentioned that he wanted coffee brought to him, I was sure to do so. Though, after what happened on Monday night (last chapter), I continued to refer to him as 'sir' or 'Mr.Jeong'.

I was slightly excited as tomorrow was my 20th birthday! But my only issue was that I had no clue on how to celebrate it.

As the elevators opened to my office floor, I was surprised with my coworkers singing to me for my special day. I smiled at all of them, they were all kind enough to wish me the best and it was an amazing way to start the work day. Some had even bought me gifts, others who didn't bring gifts said they'd purchase me alcohol which I declined, since I was a lightweight.

"It's okay! You all didn't have to get me anything! But I'm happy you all remembered!" I thanked them as I finally made way to my desk. Spotting a few more small gifts that were wrapped, I safely put all of them away in my large desk drawer. I was about to drop off the coffee, but Doyoung had pulled me into a hug while I was seated.

"Happy birthday Minjun! You're an adult now!!" Doyoung cheered as he pulled away to hand me a gift box, revealing a cute bracelet that was embellished with stones.

"Oh my goodness- You didn't need to-" I spoke in a low voice, not wanting to draw attention to Doyoung's expensive-looking gift.

"It's fine! Plus, we'll be matching.~" Doyoung smiled as he held up his wrist, showing the silver charm that resembled the one he was gifting to me. I was unsure of what to do other than pull him into a proper hug, my arms wrapped around his neck as I gave him a small squeeze, accidentally dragging him down.

"Sorry! But also, thank you so much." I whispered to him. "I'll be back, just gotta drop off Mr. Jeong's coffee."

As I left my desk to head into Mr. Jeong's office. Once having permission to enter, the PA desk was empty yet again, making me slightly concerned for Hana's whereabouts. "I brought your coffee, sir."

Making my way up to place the beverage on his desk, he dismissed me, which I immediately went to work.

It wasn't long until over an hour later, the elevator chimed, making everyone in their cubicles glance at who was arriving onto our floor. To their surprise, it was Hana, who had dyed hair along with a slight tan?

"Morning everyone! I just got back from my trip to Japan~!" She exclaimed, making many colleagues roll their eyes at her as she skipped her way into Mr. Jeong's office, where her work station resided.

"I guess she went on vacation??" I hear Doyoung loudly whisper to me. I shrugged at him, before some of our cubicle-neighbors chimed in.

"On her social media she was bragging about how the boss 'let' her have a vacation for her hard work. ." The female scrolled on her phone before showing a few of us the screenshot of the post.

"That bitch . ." Doyoung slammed his fist onto the arm of his chair, clearly frustrated.

"Hey, don't say that." I pointed at Doyoung who was quick to go on a small rant about how undeserving Hana was of the vacation.

"You think she seduced the boss into getting a vacation?" One of our male colleagues commented, making a few others nod their head 'yes'. I couldn't help but feel upset at the possibility, but I did my best to ignore the idea of that.

"Doubt it." Doyoung was quick to deny, before coming up with a theory. "She hasn't worked as long as we have, so she shouldn't be able to have that many sick days. Plus, no way she would be able to have her way with the boss looking like that."
