Shuichi turns slinging his bag over his shoulder just as Kaede speaks.

"Oh great it looks like the others are free to join us once their class ends."

"Wonderful..." Shuichi says sounding bored

"They said we could go ahead and they'll meet us at Wackdonalds." Kaede says shutting off her phone and shoving it into her book bag.

The two of them turn and make their way to the exit of the school building. As the two are walking the halls a scrawny purple haired boy almost runs directly into Shuichi.

"Oh gosh- I'm so sorry!" The boy stutters apologizing profusely to Shuichi

"It's ok." Shuichi says eyeing the boy up and down

After a couple more apologies the boy scurries off seemingly in a hurry.

"Heh odd kid..." Kaede says watching the boy turn a corner

~Time skip~

Shuichi opens the door to Wackdonalds walking inside closely followed by Kaede. The two scan the room before seeing one open booth next to a group of kids that seem to be from their school. They both sit down at the booth, Shuichi turns eyeing a boy who seems to be the same one who almost ran into him not too long ago. The boy looks half asleep dozing off. Shuichi chuckles as the boy's head immediately perks up after he's spoken to. Kaede eyes him carefully before making a remark.

"You're gonna stare holes into him stop." Shuichi turns after hearing this

"I only glanced at him." Shuichi says before spinning the fork in his hand

After a couple minutes of chatter there's some commotion from the table next to the two schoolmates.

"Oh my Kokichi, how scandalous!" shouts one of the girls at the table

Some more commotion about dating and who the little purple haired boy likes before he shouts

"It's Shuichi!"

Shuichi's eyes widen and Kaede looks like she's just seen a ghost. Shuichi quickly composes himself before giving a sinister smirk

"Oh this could be fun..." he whispers under his breath

"He can't be serious..." Kaede says groaning and falling back into her seat

"You of all people... seriously?"

"Oh?" Shuichi says before leaning into the table

"I'm just too much." Shuichi says wearing a cocky grin

Kaede scrunches up her nose before her eyes move away from Shuichi to something or someone behind Shuichi. Kaede raises her hand in the air smiling.

"Guys over here!" She shouts trying to get the attention of a group of highschool students who have just walked through the door.

The group spots the two and quickly make their way over getting comfortable in the booth. Rantaro takes a seat next to Shuichi followed by Maki. Miu sits next to Kaede followed by Kiibo.

"So did we miss anything exciting?" Kaito asks grinning, Kaede smiles.

"Actually yes." She grins

"Shuichi has a little admirer..." Miu perks up at this.

"Is that so?" Miu says looking over at Shuichi who keeping a straight face

"Yep and it looks like he's leaving right now." Kaede says just as the group next to them get up and start making their way toward the exit.

"One of them?" Kiibo asks, watching the group leave.

"Yep, one of them..." Kaede says sounding almost sinister

"I'm putting my money on the avocado one." Miu says, eyeing the group as they leave through the doors.

"Nope!" Kaede says in a sing song voice

"The puny lookin one?!" Miu says turning to stare at Kade, Kaede simply nods her head Miu stares at her with a look of astonishment.

Maki chuckles under her breath watching the event unfold.

"Poor kid..." Kaito says, turning to look at the door with no one there.

Woohoo chapter two is finished! Hopefully I can have chapter three out relatively soon. I had fun writing this chapter, also remember this is a manipulated version of the actual characters so they're definitely going to have different reactions than they might in certain situations.
