3. I may hate you but letting you die on my doorstep would be rude

Seongwha dragged the demon inside to assess his injuries. It had been a year since he had last seen Y/n and although he didn't like demons, he couldn't just leave him to die.
"What's wrong?"
Hongjoong came rushing down the stairs, followed by Mingi and Yunho who were carrying the spell book and first aid kit Seongwha had requested.
"I don't know! I opened the door and he was on our doorstep like this."
Everyone could hear the heavy breathing and gasps for air that came from the injured boy.
"I-"
He began to speak and everyone listened, awaiting some sort of answer as to why he was in such a state.
"I had to come warn you."
He spoke between gasps. He was barely conscious and although they all wanted answers to the many questions they had, helping him heal was important at that time.

After Hongjoong had performed some healing spells and Yunho had bandaged up any lingering wounds, they laid Y/n down on the couch. Everyone had gathered in the room to discuss what had happened.
"Who could've done something like this?"
Mingi asked.
"Whoever it is must have access to some powerful weaponry. Demons can't be hurt by regular human tools. It has to be enchanted. Usually it's angelic weapons that can hurt them but there are other types that can cause damage."
If anyone knew how to hurt demons it would be Seongwha, his kind pioneered the type of weaponry that could end a demons life. Seeing this demon before him, asking him and his friends for help, made him feel a guilt he had never felt for a demon before.
"I'm sure it wasn't an Angel that did this, you don't have to worry."
Hongjoong placed a hand on Seongwha's back to comfort him. It was clear by the look of worry on his face that he actually felt sympathy towards the demon.

Y/n jolted awake, immediately feeling pain shoot through as he had moved to quickly.
"Fuck! Where am I?"
He looked around to see if the place seemed familiar.
"Y/n! You're awake. I'll go get the others."
He saw the familiar face of the man who had summoned him a year before and it calmed him. Mingi called everyone in.
"It is so good to see all of you."
He smiled, happy to be somewhere safe.

The first person to greet him, surprisingly, was Seongwha.
"You stained my carpet with your blood so there better be a good reason you came here."
"Don't worry, I know a life hack for getting blood out of carpet."
He laughed, before realising why he had come there in the first place.
"Oh shit! I came here to warn you guys about someone."
"Who?"
Hongjoong asked.
"So after I went back to hell, not much was really going on down there. Usually I can't come and go as I please, most demons can't. But I was thinking about this place I saw in the overworld a few centuries ago and all of a sudden I was there."
Everyone looked confused.
"I don't know what happened exactly but something Mingi did during the spell must have caused me to be able to travel at will between the realms."
"Okay but how does this relate to whoever you were trying to warn us about?"
Yeosang wanted to know what was going on and he had grown tired of the demons story.
"I'm getting there! The story is important."
The siren rolled his eyes.
"So I've just been travelling about, going wherever I want cause hell is a pretty boring place to be. I bumped into some demons a couple weeks ago. This one guy, he's not like any demon I've seen before."
"What colour are his eyes?"
Seongwha cut in. He had a feeling he knew where this was going.
"Purple."
The Angel went pale, knowing immediately that whatever was coming there way was not good.
"Is that a bad thing?"
Wooyoung chimed in.

"Purple eyed demons are some of the most powerful ones out there. They are different fragments of Lucifers soul. In the war between heaven and hell, when he knew he had lost the war, he split his soul between six demons so that one day, the fragments could come together and bring him back."
A silence fell over the room as Seongwha spoke. Y/n then continued his story.
"This guy, he seemed interested in how I could travel between the worlds. Guardian demons are especially tied to the underworld so it must have been powerful magic that gave me this new ability. I didn't tell him anything because I knew he was trouble."
He paused, looking at Mingi before speaking again.
"He thinks that your magic could be very powerful. He tried to get me to talk to him but I knew that you aren't a witch so there was no point telling him. If he turned up here he most likely would've killed you after realising you just accidentally summoned me."
All eyes were on Mingi.
"You just had to go and summon a demon, didn't you?"
Hongjoong said.
"How was I supposed to know that a year later a really powerful demon would want my powerful magic that I don't even have!"

Y/n knew he had to ask this question.
"Are you sure you don't know magic? You might just not be aware of your abilities."
"There's no way he's a witch. My family were good friends with his and they were all humans. Not one of them had ever been a witch."
Yunho stated.
"Well if his family aren't witches then I'm afraid I haven't even more bad news for all of you..."
