About Aayush

Aayush is a 22 years old boy. His story starts 3 years back. When he was in high school's(+2) final year. He fell in love with a girl name Elina. He was shy innocent and introvert guy. He does not know much about relationships and all. But when Elina saw his innocence and fell for him. She proposed him. "Can you be part of my life?" Aayush was numb for a moment and did not say anything. Later that day he asked his friend Menuka. "Menuka, Elina proposed me I don't know what to say." Menuka looked at him and sighs, " ahhhh.....you dumb stupid she loves you that's why she proposed you maybe you should take a step ahead and continue your relationship with her." Next day Aayush approached Elina in hesitated way and said, " E... Elina I think I also love you and maybe we should be together..." Elina and whole class was shocked and staring at Aayush. They all thought how can such an innocent boy propose Elina. Elina was so happy and hugged Aayush. But Aayush was embarrassed and he ran away. Everyone laughed. Elina followed Aayush and asked, " Why you ran away Aayush?". "I...I don't know how to be in relationship because I've never been in one before." Elina looked at him and said," Just feel my love." Everything was new for Aayush but he tried his best to make his first love of his life happy. He always made cute gestures like giving her presents, writing her poem, holding her hands.

Aayush started to feel the love of Elina slowly and he also felt that he genuinely loved Elina. It was now Elina's birthday. Aayush planned a romantic dinner date and a beautiful necklace as a gift for Elina. It was September 4 Elina's birthday. As planned Aayush took Elina to her favorite place and everything was perfect. "Close your eyes." Aayush said to Elina. Elina smiled and closed her eyes. Aayush from behind slowly put the necklace around her neck and said, "Now open." That necklace was perfect match for Elina and her beautiful glowing smile and her brown eyes. Elina was so happy and amazed. She hugged Aayush and kissed him on lips. Aayush was stunned and embarrassed again. Elina looked at him and laughed. As the day passed Aayush's feelings for Elina was growing stronger and stronger. One year passed since they were in relationship now it was final year of their high school.

Aayush always kept saying,"No matter what we will never break up."

Elina smiled and hugged him.

One day Elina got sick and didn't came to classes for 2 days. Aayush was really worried and upset. He contacted her and found out that she was sick. Aayush rushed to her house. Elina's mother was there but Aayush convinced her mother to let him visit Elina once. So, Elina's mother let Aayush meet Elina. Elina saw Aayush and was very happy. On other hand Aayush was worried and crying. Elina in soft voice, "Why are you crying it's just a normal fever." Aayush did not stop crying. Elina hugged him and comforted him. That day Aayush realized that he was totally in love with Elina and can do anything to be with her. He then started to bring fruits and medicines to Elina. He also skipped his classes sometimes just to make sure that Elina was not feeling alone. He also wrote notes of classes for Elina.

Soon Elina was well and could join the classes. Aayush was very happy.

But he did not know that the happiness was not for much long.

After Elina got well. Everything started to change. She suddenly started to talk less to Aayush. Aayush thought it was from her sickness and she was still not feeling well. But one day when Aayush tried to hold Elina's hand she refused to hold Aayush's hand and went away. Aayush asked,"What happened to you?" Elina replied," Nothing I just need space." Aayush agreed and went away. But since that day Elina's behavior towards Aayush was changing.

One day Aayush called Elina.
Ring ring...
Elina," Hello...."
Aayush,"What are you doing?"
Elina," Nothing just sitting in my house."
Aayush," Can we meet? I miss you."
Elina furiously," Why are you always asking to meet you.? Don't you get bored of me?"
Aayush,"Bored......I love you....Why will I get bored?
Elina,"Because I'm bored."
Aayush didn't say a word and hung up the phone.

He knew Elina was changed but he did not want to accept that. he tried his best for making a good relationship.

One day Elina called Aayush and asked him to meet. Aayush was so happy. He dressed well and went to meet Elina. He also bought her favorite chocolates.

He saw Elina and was very happy but Elina was in a foul mood. Aayush asked," What happened?"
"Nothing I'm just....." replied Elina.

Aayush gave Elina her favorite chocolates. Then Elina said,"Aayush I'm sorry but we are over. I cannot be in a relationship with you." Aayush was numb and he did not utter a word. Elina again said," I'm sorry but try to understand please." Aayush did not know what to say and said with a smile,"It's okay if you want then." Elina hugged him and left. Aayush returned to his house and at first he thought he will be fine. But days passed and he was not able to get over Elina's thoughts. After a month when Aayush was returning from his classes he saw Elina with someone else. For a moment his heart stopped and was like a dead corpse.

He returned to his home and called Elina."Who was that guy?" Aayush asked. "Who?" Elina replied. Aayush said," I saw you today with someone else you both were laughing." Elina couldn't take it anymore and said,"He is my boyfriend we are in a relationship."

Aayush asked," So that's why we broke up?" Elina furiously said," Yes that's why I broke up with you." "But you loved me, Didn't you?" Aayush asked. Elina said," I don't know what was that but it's over now and don't bother me anymore." And hung up the call.

Aayush was now totally broken from inside. He never expected that Elina would leave him for some other guy. He began to overthink. He started thinking that what if she never loved him. What if she was always in love with him. He was on his way to depression. Slowly he was abnormal. He used to call Elina and begged her to get back. He became desperate. He lost his sleep. He's study was disturbed. He was in darkness. He became more conservative and more introvert. He even tried smoking to distract his thoughts. Slowly it became his habit. It was his final exams. But Aayush was not in a condition to sit and give exams. But somehow he gave his exams. And it was vacation. Aayush started to feel lonely and he became a chain-smoker. He needed a cigarette so that he could stop thinking about Elina. He was becoming crazy. One night he could not take it anymore and tried to commit suicide. But luckily he was taken to hospital by his parents and was rescued.

(You all must be thinking, How coward he tried to kill himself for a girl. But Elina was his first love of his life. And in very beginning he was cheated by her and it was hard for him)

Aayush's parents tried to talk to him. Father," Son what happened? Why did you do this?" Aayush did not say anything and started to cry. The doctor said to Aayush's parents," Your son's mental health is not good he needs a psychiatrist." Their parents decided to consult a therapist but Aayush's condition was worst. He needed mental health care. So,their parents decided to send him to mental health care. He went to the mental health care. He was feeling better and he was becoming a better person there. He also grew the habit of reading. He spent 1 and half year their. As the days of his return to his home was nearing a pandemic out breaks and he had to spent extra 8 months in the Mental health care. But he was happy and he did not regret staying there.

Soon the pandemic situation was settling down and it was his time to return to his home. Aayush was happy to return to his home but somewhere there was still some darkness left in his heart and mind. During pandemic period a new chapter was going to start in his life.
