JAY'S POV:

I woke up in the infirmary. God my head was killing me. I can't believe I got bested by a girl. I heard a door open, and Kyle walked through the door.
"Good job out there, Jay! You did good!" He smiled
"No.. I did bad... I let her best me. She beat me." I responded. "No she didn't.. you both passed out. Albeit one from exhaustion and the other from being hurt badly. But you both passed out so .. technically you beat her!" He said walking over to my bed.
"Wait.... She did?" I tilted my head in confusion. "Yeah, she passed out after your right hook, just like you." Kyle responded.

"I told you we could win."

"S-shut up... It was only luck.."

"But we still won."

"Technically you tied.."

"Whatever man."
After my argument with Ash, I snapped back to reality. "Well.. Alpha Axel said you and Catherine were too badly injured to fight later. He said it was about health concerns or something stupid like that" Kyle said, which made Ash whine in response.

"Quit your whining Ash... You aren't a puppy."

"But I wanted to assure dominance.. I wanted to make them acknowledge us as the new alpha!"

"That probably won't happen. The Catherine is probably gonna be the new alpha. We will be the new beta at best."

"That's not true! We tied in human form! So I could've beat her in wolf form, and assure our dominance!"

"I worry about you Ash."

"What makes you say that?"

"Well you are all about making sure you are number 1... You never take second.. it's first or nothing with you."

No response.

"Did I finally break you?"

No response.

"Shit man... I'm sorry if I hurt you... I was trying to joke around with you."

"It.. it's fine.."

"Hello??" Kyle asked as I snapped back to reality. "Huh? Oh.. sorry Kyle!" I said. "It's fine.. Remember when I said you owe me?" Kyle asked. "Yeah why?" "Well... I need to cash that favor in.." So, I said "Sure! What do you need?" "I need you to help me with my finals, like I did with you."

"Of course, Kyle! Let's go!" I say getting up out of bed, but while I try to stand, I fall. "oh my God! Are you okay?!?" Kyle asked, running over to me, and picking me up.

"Yeah.. yeah I'm fine." I say clutching my head. "Okay well... I guess you can't, since you are too badly injured.", Kyle said.

"No! Have him carry us there!, I wanna see him fight,!"

"Can you carry me, please? I really wanna see you fight!" I say. Kyle starts thinking, then sighs. "Fine. But you owe me double!" He says picking me up, and lifting me over his shoulder. "Yay! Thank you!" "Mhm."

We went to the training grounds, and beta Kai said, "Who is that?" So, I said, "The boogeyman!" I paused, then said, "Beta, it's Jay!" I said and started laughing. Then, Kyle set me down in a chair.

Beta Kai started laughing, and asked what I was doing at the training grounds after my match. I told him I was there to see Kyle fight. In which he nodded at. "Well looks like you're just in time, because it's Kyle versus Andrew!" A 5'11 blue haired guy walked in the room.

Kyle, and Andrew apparently had beef, because both men started yelling at each other. Sometimes, they would even cuss each other out.

"Alright! Alright! Settle down! Settle down!" Alpha Axel yelled. All three men stepped into the ring. But, only Kyle and Andrew shifted.
Alpha Axel stepped out of the ring. The bell rang.

Kyle's wolf kept lunging at Andrew's. Sometimes, even scratching it's side. Then, Kyle lunged at Andrew but, Andrew didn't dodge. Andrew was in the ground, then tilted his head back, showing his neck. The bell rang again. Kyle got off of Andrew, but didn't shift again. Probably because he tore his clothes.

"Let me take control."

"What?!? No! I need to congratulate him!"

"In human form? Absolutely not! He won't understand you! But he will understand me!"

"Fine... Fine! Take control!"

"Thank you!"

ASH'S POV:

Wow. Kyle's wolf was really good looking. I shouldn't feel like that's but I do. I run into the ring, and nuzzle his snoot. He nuzzles back, and runs off. I run after him, almost immediately. We run back to the pack houses. We slow down to a trot, when we get on the sidewalks. Both if us are taking in the scenic view. When we get to the dorms I realize something... I forgot how we would be able to open our doors. I think Kyle's wolf realized that too, because I see worry in his eyes. I nudge into him, he looks at me, as I nod.

"Jay, take control, and open the door."

"Okay. Sure!"

JAY'S POV:

I take control z and shift. SHIT! I'm completely fucking naked! I forgot when we shift, our clothes shred! I run to our dorms, and open the door with Kyle right behind me. I run to my room, and close the door behind me. I hear whining.. I think Kyle wants in?? Surely not?? I mean... I'm naked.. He wouldn't want to see me naked would he?? Especially since we just met! I hear scratching at the door. Alright he definitely wanted in. "Gimme a minute!" I tell Kyle's wolf. He steps back, and I think he shifted into his human form, because I hear footsteps walking down the hall. I go ahead, and change into what I arrived in. A plain white t-shirt, and a black jacket, with black jeans. "Hey Jay? Can I come in?" I hear Kyle ask.

"Yeah, come on in." I say after getting my hoodie on.
The doorknob turns, and slowly, the door pushes open. "Hey.. Jay?" Kyle said, walking through. "Yeah Kyle?"

"We need to talk. I need to explain why my wolf was acting like th-"

Then and announcement came on.

"Everybody!! Attention!! We are meeting at the dining hall!! Come now!!"

"Well.. guess it's gonna have to wait. Come on Jay!" Kyle said walking out. I follow him quickly.

We arrive at the dining hall. There was food all across the table. Kyle and I sit down, at the end near Catherine.

"Alright everybody listen up!! We will be announcing who will be the new alpha and beta!!"

Tension was in the air. I could feel it. Everybody was hoping that they got placed as alpha.

"The new Blood Rose Pack's alpha is... KYLE!" Everybody started cheering and clapping for him.

"And for the first time in history.. we will be having two betas!! The first beta which is the more dominant.. Jay!!" Only Kyle was cheering, and clapping for me. "And the second beta... Catherine!"
