Kyle's POV:

And just like that, the fight was on. My amazing boyfriend happened to get the first kill. You know, coming this far, if you told me I'd be fighting my mate's old family, I'd call you crazy. Bodies are dropping everywhere, but all that's in mind is protecting Jay.

After only a couple of fights with Dark Moon members, I reunite with Alpha, Jay, Beta, and Sage.

"You know, the five of us.. Unstoppable." Beta says, trying to get on the bright side of things.

"You can say that again!" Alpha respondes as he raised a knife, and killed an enemy.

Little did we know, that was the last we'd see of one of us.

The Dark Moon was smart, they singled us out, because we're the best fighters. They had us surrounded.

Just like Alpha taught us, the five of us were back to back.

"No matter what happens boys, it was an honor." Alpha said, as they closed in on us.

There we were, fighting for our lives, then the inevitable happened. Beta went down. Took a knife for Alpha.

Blood was coming from his chest.

"Go! They're just gonna kill you three if you dont go! There's too many! Trust me, They've already got me! I'd rather die, than see what ive worked so hard for die with me!" Beta yelled, as he got back to his feet, clutching where he was stabbed.

Alpha had tears in his eyes, but he had to face the facts.

"It was an honor to serve with you." He mumbled, before he led us away to a vantage point with the couple of hundred that were lucky to survive.

"We need to discuss a plan. It's obvious we can't take them head on it's suicide. They have the numbers game... And a beta. So, for now, we play smart, we know these grounds and they don't. Lead them far into the woods, and mark them off one by one. It's the best chance we got. Any questions?" He said, and looked up at everyone.

Jay raised his hand.

"I'm staying here. Trust me. I'm able to handle my own. I'll be fine. This is my fight, so I'll deal with it."

I started to speak up, and tell him otherwise, but alpha spole up before me.

"Jay... Are you absolutely sure? That's a big risk to be taking.. After all, I've already lost one beta, I don't want to lose another."

"I'm sure Alpha. Let me handle this." He said, with a serious face.

Shit. This isn't good. I gotta try to talk him out of it!

"Alright then. Blood Rose, you know what to do. May the goddess bless us today, and may the godess bless you Jay. Move out!" As everyone left, I finally got to talk to Jay.

"Jay, what the hell? That's suicide! They'll just kill you! You can't leave me! We were supposed to rule Blood Rose together! Future alpha, and current Beta!" I say, tears now streaming down my face.

"Kyle, my sweet boyfriend.. Please.. I know it's killing you, but trust me, I'm not leaving. I can handley own." He mumbled, and embraced me in a hug

"Damnit Jay, be careful. If you leave me, I'll come to the afterlife, and make you wish you were still alive." I say, voice cracking, as more tears stream down my face.

"Trust me Kyle. I'll be fine. Now go. I love you."

"I love you too."

I say, as I make my way into the woods, unsure if I'll ever see my boyfriend again.
