Namjoon is in shock, but even more so in pain. He wished to see Seokjin's desk filled with flowers, it's disgusting to wish someone dead, he hates himself for it. Namjoon knows Seokjin has forgotten everything, who they were to each other and who he was to the school. Despite that, Namjoon can't help but still feel rage seeing Seokjin's face.

"Alright that's all for today," Mrs. Lee dismisses the class. She looks in Namjoon's direction reminding him he has to watch Seokjin.

With a curt nod Namjoon gathers his things and makes his way to Seokjin's desk. As Namjoon approaches he looks over Seokjin's shoulder to see his notebook. At first he wasn't sure of what he was looking at, but he saw the unexpected. Instead of meticulous notes and homework already done like he's used to seeing from Seokjin, the notebook is filled with doodles upon doodles. 'What?' Namjoon asks himself, he's confused and disturbed. Doodles depicting Seokjin being killed by a faceless figure.

"Hey," Namjoon makes his presence known, Seokjin quickly closes his notebook.

"Y-yes?" Seokjin swallows hard, seeing Namjoon up close makes him nervous.

"Let's go, we shouldn't wait around," Namjoon ignores what he saw, taking it as a sign he shouldn't get involved.

The two walk out of class together, although Seokjin was nervous being with Namjoon without the teacher, he felt Namjoon's aura change.

Namjoon leads Seokjin throughout the school, showing him clubs, the cafeteria, and teachers lounge if he needs help. Even giving Seokjin small historical facts of the old building.

Throughout the tour Namjoon watches Seokjin's reactions and responses. So far he doesn't know what to think of the 'new,' Seokjin. For now all he's observed is he's quiet, shy, and clueless. The opposite from the loud and sassy Seokjin he knew before.

"That should be everything," Namjoon ends the tour at the lockers in the main hall.

"Thank you, everything around here looks the same. I would have been lost without you," Seokjin smiles brightly.

A sour taste develops in Namjoon's mouth, Seokjin's smile doesn't sit right with him. "Look," Namjoon grabs Seokjin's arm and pulls his body towards himself. Their faces close, Namjoon looking down on Seokjin. "I'm not your friend, in fact let me make this clear, we never were. I honestly hated you and I hate you now. Beyond that classroom we're strangers,"

Seokjin feels his mouth become hot, his stomach turning upside down. Again those harsh and unapologetic eyes pierce him like a hot knife. The grip of Namjoon's hand on his arm even feels red hot with rage.

"O-okay, I'm sorry," Seokjin's voice trembles, his eyes blinking to stop from crying.

Namjoon lets out a harsh chuckle to Seokjin's weak reaction, "That's it?" He lets out another chuckle, "Maybe if I did this when we first met at the entrance ceremony you would've stepped down from that throne you felt like you had to stay on. Even having me babysit your little errand boy after you were half dead—"

"Grab him like that again and I'll cut your hand off,"

Namjoon's arm is violently pushed away, Seokjin's arm is free but he can still feel an invisible imprint. Seokjin looks over his shoulder to see another student, his eyes full of fury towards Namjoon.

"Speak of the devil and he will appear," Namjoon scoffs under his breath. He doesn't bother and leaves with a snarled face.

The two watch him till he disappears into another hall. The unknown student turns Seokjin's body, "Are you alright, Jin?" He asks, gently taking his arm.

"Thank you...um,"

"Jungkook," He says in a disappointed but knowing tone. Jungkook painfully knows that Seokjin wouldn't know who he is, but he still had an inkling of hope. Jungkook wished that Seokjin would see his face and remember, but that was a wishful fairytale.

"Jungkook, thank you." Seokjin gives him a small smile. He notices the disappointment in his face, so Seokjin wonders if Jungkook knew him before like Namjoon did. But it's hard for him to ask, not knowing how Jungkook will react.

"Don't let him bother you, I think he's still just petty. He has to tutor me because you were gone."

"Because of me, why?"

"You used to help me, Jin."
