Not Gonna Leave ~ Bucky Barnes x Reader

Chapter 6

The next day Peter texts you that he wants to make the movie marathon that was planned today with junk food and ice cream.

At the same time that you agree you ask him where you're gonna do it and when you read his answer all you can do was frown.

Really the compound? You ask yourself but send out a message that you'll be there in 20 with everything that you have at home for such a movie marathon.

Right when you were packing other stuff your phone vibrated informing you that you received a message. Unlocking your phone you see a text from Peter and open it. Unknowingly a smile creeps on your features when you read his message.

Bucky will be there.

You don't know why it makes you so happy but it does. Most of the time you think he looks like a lost puppy and lonely. Growing fond of him you found yourself looking forward to see him from day to day.

After sending a short confirmation to Peter you head out with all your stuff and drive over to the compound.

Luckily your employees were able to manage the cafe on their own so you could spend the day with Peter and now Bucky as well.

When you finally arrive at the compound you find yourself nervously sitting in the car, doubting it's a good idea to come here. Shaking it off as good as you can you send a text out to Peter telling him you're waiting in front of the building.

Short time after Peter ran towards you as you wait outside your car. As soon as you spotted him you were as well running towards him and engulfed him in a huge hug.

"I am so sorry that I left yesterday. Are you doing alright? Did James go to you?" you babble while breaking the hug and inspecting him as you hold his face.

He just beams brightly at you and you calm down a bit.

"Don't worry, I understand why you left. And I'm alright, Mr. Barnes checked on me and ate dinner with me in my room." he assures you and that calms you instantly. You're happy that Bucky did what you asked him to do.

After a bit small talk and reassurance that it would be okey to spend the day in the common living room, you make your way to the living room with all the stuff and set it up.

The couches of the living room were now covered in pillows and blankets. The coffee table had several snacks on top of it from sweet to salty, also a few fruits but who would say no to watermelon, grapes, blueberries, raspberries or STRAWBERRIES? Hell no one would so they were on the table as well. Later you're going to order pizza, chinese, burgers and other junk food. Whatever you feel like eating. Adding a few soft drinks you're almost happy with the setup.

Only one thing left to do.

Peter looks at you knowingly and you both run to his room. You go to the bathroom and he stays in his, you both change into comfy clothes.
Now you're wearing your favorite shorts that barely cover your ass and a big hoodie that's still from college. Your Y/H/C hair stuck in the hoodie as you forgot to pull it out after you pulled the hoodie over your head. A few strands falling loose as they are shorter than others.

That's it.

Satisfied with the whole ambience you and Peter fall back on the couch with a content sigh.

"So," you start looking over to Peter catching his gaze, "who's getting James?"
Peter looks like he is thinking but you both know the answer. You're going to get him.

After Peter instructed you where his room was you go there and knock on his door cheerfully.

Within seconds the door gets ripped open making you flinch. As soon as Bucky sees you he is at ease.
