The five of you kept on watching movies, ordered some junk food and you and the girls got to know each other better.

Bucky didn't let go of you but changed his position to lay on his left side, so that his face was facing your belly. After a while he fell asleep and nuzzled into your belly as you kept on stroking his hair.

You and the girls really got along well. They told you a bit about themselves and you told them a bit about yourself. It was refreshing to talk to girls, because mostly you had male friends or talked to Peter.

Also through your past you mostly knew male people so it was actually no surprise anyhow.

Bucky was sound asleep with his head in your lap when you started drifting off to sleep. It was around 8pm and the movie playing was pretty boring so you shuffled a bit to lay down more and shifted Bucky's head to lay on your stomach.

Your eyes finally fell shut and you were out like a light, legs draped over Nat's and Wanda's lap, feet resting in Peter's and Bucky's head safely on your stomach as you rested one hand on his head.

"Hey she's out." Nat whispered to Peter who then looked your way only to see what Nat just told him.

"Let her sleep she's had a rough month and yesterday gnawed on her. She was really nervous meeting you all. Not because we're the Avengers, but because you're like a second family to me." he explains in a gentle voice looking at you with adoration.

Wanda and Nat knew he wasn't finished yet so they didn't say anything.

"I was really angry yesterday when Mr. Wilson and Captain Rogers, treated her like that. It's nothing personal that she doesn't know anything about the Avengers she just doesn't like news so she can't pick up on anything about us there. She always told me that you only get one side from the media and that's their opinion but she doesn't want to build her opinion on these. I personally understand that and like her view, but they didn't even gave her a chance. And today when Captain Rogers directly accused her of calling Bucky a monster I was furious but Bucky had it handled and in any case she would've been able to protect herself. But I'm glad that you girls and Mr. Stark like her. She's like a big sister to me." Peter goes on as expected and his expression changes the whole time until he settles his gaze with an adoring smile on you.

Nat and Wanda look at him softly and then turn their face to you only to see that you've moved to curl into Bucky.
Your legs are bent to the side so that the front of your tights press against Bucky's back, your upper body is still flat on the couch but up from your waist your bent a little to meet Bucky more, while his head is still resting on your stomach.

Their eyes soften at the cuteness of you both. Neither of them have seen Bucky so peaceful and relaxed and honestly they think it's a good sign and very good for him.

"We get it Peter really. She's absolutely gentle with Barnes over there. She really has no clue about his past and is not a single bit afraid of him. And then she's also so kind to us and wants to get to know us and not the superheroes the public sees. You're one lucky guy Peter. We get it. And we like her." Nat gives Peter a sympathetic smile and Wanda nods in agreement.

Shortly after their conversation the rest of the Avengers come in the living room a bit louder than meant so Nat shushes them and motions to you and Bucky still sound asleep.

"She tamed the beast." Sam jokes silently as they all sit down somewhere.

"Did he take anything or how did she manage to do that?" Stark jokes as well.

"No she was just laying down with him, stroking his head." Wanda counters.

"And she accepted his metal arm. They're literally so sweet and gentle with each other it makes me almost sick." Nat adds with a giggle.
