Chapter 3

A sea of nothing.

The moon shines bright.

Memories of a Sealed One.

A bleak serpent rises.

How will you turn out?

Waking up in a cold sweat, I see an unfamiliar ceiling. I'm inside a futon, I don't know where I am, however it seems like my questions are going to be answered. Hearing someone enter, I sit up and look where the sound is coming from. 

"Already awake? That was rather fast." A familiar voice spoke to me. 

Turning around I saw Yae Miko holding a wet towel.

"How.... long have I been out?" I questioned the Miko.

"Only a day. I expected you would be out for longer.

"A day?!" What? I've been out for an entire day.... Let me check something. [Ding]
What the?!

[With the usage of the upgrade card, you have been upgraded to Grade 2]

Q-Sing? Opening my inventory, I noticed something on my character sheet.

[Name: Raiden Mei]

[Grade: S] -> [Grade S|*]

[Level: 100]

[Weapon: Key of Castigation]

Oh? I got my level limit shown. If I get more cards, do I perhaps.... get even stronger. Well, enough about strength. Slowly getting up from the futon I look at Yae who just watches me. Stretching out my legs I can feel it pop, that felt rather nice. 

"Something wrong?" I asked Yae.

"Ah- No nothing's wrong." Yae replied, her face seemed rather red.

... Moving on, I felt like I'm missing something. It felt rather cold, looking down I noticed that in fact I'm not wearing any clothing. Looking back at Yae, she's looking away and is red... Odd. I expected her to be not bright red. Maybe blushing but not like a tomato, Oh well.

"Yae-san, do you know where my kimono is?" I asked the red-faced kitsune. She calmed herself and spoke again.

"Your Kimono was torn and broken and is currently getting fixed." Yae said. Damn it, my kimono is broken and torn. Man, I only got one kimono.

"Well... Do you have some clothing, I'd rather not be naked." Sighing as I have no clothes other than my kimono.

Looking around the room, I noticed it was rather empty. Where even am I? I wonder... Opening my menu.

"Mei-san, I've brough you're clothes." Yae says while walking, nodding my head.

"Ah... Thank you." Telling Yae. She just simply nods and places down clothes. Closing my inventory i go grab the clothes.

How nice of her.

...

.... She was just standing there, watching me.

"Um... Are you going to stand there or are you going to leave?" I asked Yae. 

"Oh? Are you perhaps shy in changing in front of me?~" She teased, however I decided to counter. 

"yes." 

"O-oh."

Heh.

"I'm joking. It's fine if you watch me change clothes." I don't know what I'm saying.

"Ara? Let me help you then~." W-w-what. 

My face turned bright red. I turned away from Yae, so she didn't see my red face. I never realized that she too had a red face. 

[Small Time skip]

Leaving the room, my kimono had a black and red color to it. It fit me well. Exiting the building, I felt someone behind me. Turning around I saw Yae walking behind me, making a small smile. I turn back and walk out of the small place. The first thing I saw was a big Tori gate. Seeing how high up we were I realized that we were on a mountain. That same mountain with that purple hole on the side. I felt something wrong. 

"Mei-san, please follow me." Yae spoke out. Nodding my head, I followed her behind the building reaching a Sakura tree. It had blue energy pulsing inside the tree. It was filled with energy that for some reason felt familiar. The tree seemed to react to my presence, the blue energy grew stronger the closer I was.

Staring at Yae she simply smiled and nodded. What the hell am I supposed to do, Touching the tree the blue energy flared. Before suddenly a bright blue flame engulfs me, the last thing I saw was Yae face. She reached her hand out trying to pull me out. However, it was too late as the fire came as fast. I disappeared along with it.
