"AAAAHHHH" The diner was a wreck. April was running as fast as possible in her heels towards the problem. She was the head chef at the most elegant diner in Sector 1, so she had to make sure everything was perfect.
"What's wrong?" She asked worrying. The woman was a regular guest, and not a very pleasant one "I can't believe this; There is a HAIR in my food!"
The guest held up a long, curly strand of bright yellow hair. The same shade as the new waitress that she had just hired a few days ago. She was from Sector 3 at the bottom of the planet.
"What a nerd", April thought to herself. She really shouldn't have been surprised. Sector 3 was literally a whole city of nerds. They create the machines that run the cities, the medicine that heal the sick, and have the biggest library in the galaxy. The girl was about April's age, but she was the most most gifted academic in her sector. Having won multiple awards for her knowledge, April had thought that she would have to know something about cooking. Obviously, she should've judged the book by its cover.
April immediately stormed into the kitchen. She had to deal with that ridiculous woman complain about almost dying from choking on a hair.
"ALISA!" She screamed.
Alisa was on break, and was sitting in the corner on an old worn out chair reading the thickest book April had ever seen. Alisa looked up in surprise. Her glasses looked fused to her face. The second she saw April's furious face her cheeks went bright red.
"Oh, Ms. April, um, hi? What's up?" She looked like she was about to have a panic attack. Alisa was definitely not the social type, so talking to a person who looked like they were gonna explode at any second."What's up?" April was furious. " What's up is that you almost just cost me my job!" Alisas face looked like a cherry. "What do you mean, what did I do?" Don't even worry about it anymore." April said scolding her, " Because your fired."
April went home that day and felt a little bad for that girl. Maybe she was a little harsh. She walked up to the small apartment complex she lived in.
"Home sweet home", she smiled. She walked up the stairs and opened the door. "Jonesy? Where are you kitty?" A blue kitten flew out of her room. "Hey there!" Jonesy skidded to a stop and started to rub against his owner. April flopped on her bed; she was exhausted. She turned off the light, and was just about to drift off, when there was a knock on the door. Really, right now? I'm gonna kill whoever is at this door.
She sighed. "Who is it?"
No answer
"WHO is it?"
No answer
"WHO.IS.IT?!"
Still nothing. She sighed louder. Finally she decided to open the door, but nobody was there. She looked around. All she saw was a letter on the ground labeled, "For April".....
