Of all the days Romeo De Luca, the next Duke of Italy, spent running up the stairs to visit the angel in his attic, he was at his most anxious today.

His feet dashed up the stairs, bringing him to the room he spent everyday in.

He kept running up the stairs and stopped when he was in front of the door.

Looking at the door, he remembered all the times he's walked through it.

When he found his girlfriend sleeping with another man and he ran to Aviana for comfort. Every birthday he had, he ran to Aviana's room first thing in the morning and took 2 slices of birthday cake to her room once he blew out the candles. When he got awards for valedictorian or when he was given big prizes, Romeo always went to go show Aviana first.

Anything important in his life, was never important, unless he shared it with Aviana.

And in this moment he's about to open the door and confess his undying love for the woman behind it.

Her beauty is captivating. Every time Romeo sees her, he tries to hide the extreme lust he has for her, and the little voice in the back of his head keeps him from ravishing the girl every moment he steps into her room. The curves of her figure would drive any man crazy and staring at Aviana when she wasn't looking was a very guilty pleasure for Romeo. With brown hair, emerald eyes, and a warm smile that gives him tingles whenever she shows it, no one in the world can compare to Aviana's beauty.

Even the small flaws she has, such as the scar she has on the left of her jaw, or the cut she has on her back, to Romeo, Aviana is incomperable.

Apart from her angelic features, her personality is as light as a feather.

The beautiful creature that lived beyond the door currently in front of Romeo, was gentle, kind, selfless, helpful, funny, strong, and everything positive in a person.

Her optimism is contagious and her prescence is a blessing.

She is perfect.

For the past 24 years, Romeo spent at least 7 hours in Aviana's room in the attic everyday, talking, playing, eating, or watching movies.

Being the next Duke of Italy has its ups and downs, but at least, Romeo has Aviana.

2 years ago, the realization had hit him and Romeo realized how much he loved her.

How much he needed her, how much he yearned to hold her in his arms and to protect her from any harm. How much he craved her kisses and how much room she has taken in his heart.

Romeo was deeply in love with Aviana.

Her hair, her laugh, her eyes, her smile, her voice, and her personality.

If Romeo could have only one thing in the entire world, it would be Aviana.

He took out the small black box from the pocket and opened it.

Inside was a $15,000 ring, an engagement ring to be exact. The price is absurd for a small piece of jewelry but if it's for Aviana, he would sacrifice all he had to buy her the perfect engagement ring.

And in this case, the perfect engagement ring was silver, rimmed with diamonds with a big diamond on it.

The ring represents his everlasting love for her, or at least part of it.

Romeo had so much love and passion for Aviana, that the whole universe isn't big enough to describe the affection he has for her.

He adjusted his suit, making sure it looked fine.
