"Aaah Kid, its great to see you! Did you have a nice birthday son?"

"Yes father, um...can I ask you something?"

"Of course of course anything you want!"

"Did I....know (y/n) when I was a child?"

"Ask me anything except that"

"Ok then whose my mother?"

".....Soooo about your childhood! Yes, you did know her when you were a child...But it's better for you not to tell her" My father sighed.

"What...Why?"

"Well you see Kid, there's a reason you two couldn't remember each other...But its best if you not know"

"Why not father! Please tell me why!"

"Kid, I think it would be best if you leave right now...me and your dad have some important business to discuss." Spirit crossed his arms and gave me a stern look.

"Humph, fine. But I will find out!" I stormed out of the death room and back to the school where class was currently in session.

"Hey Kid! What's wrong with you?" Patty asked as we headed down the stairs of the DWMA.

"Yeah you have been looking pretty down lately" Liz added on.

"Hmm, oh, nothing..."

"Does it have to deal with that new girl?" Liz questioned as Patty skipped down the stairs.

"Yeah...I just have something on my mind at the moment and I can't figure it out"

"Well if you have any trouble you can come to us, your partners!" Liz smiled.

"Yeah!" Patty added.

They're happiness and excitement made me smirk a little but my mind was still in constant thought.

"Oh hey Liz..."

"Yeah Kid?"

"How about you two go ahead, I'm going to go to the library and do some school research!"

"Ok, see you at home Kid"

"Bye Bye Kid!"

"Hello, excuse me...is anyone here!?" I called from the front desk of the library.

An odd looking man came out from the shadows.

"Hello there sir, can I help you with something?"

"Yes, I would like to see records from 10 years ago"

"Ah yes, and do you have a library card?"

"I do indeed" I handed him my card.

"I'm sorry sir, but all records are for level 3 Meister's and you seem to only be a level 1"

"I don't have time for this, flip the card over"

He flipped it over and froze in sight of the death family symbol.

"I am so sorry sir, I didn't know you were lord death's son...let me go get that book for you"

He went to the back and quickly came back in a flash with the records from 10 years ago.

I sat down at one of the tables and began searching through the medical records first to see if I could find anything about her disease...but there was nothing.

Next I tried to search and see if there were any houses that were put up for sale around the time that she moved...but again, nothing.

It was as if all trace of her or anything relevant to her was completely erased.
