(Kids POV)

"Hey Kid, you know that chick...um what's her name? (y-y/n)?"

"You mean (y/n)...What about her?" I asked the white haired idiot that goes by the name of Soul.

"You should ask her out, she is pretty hot!" He winked which wanted me to punch him in the throat.

"I would rather not, thank you very much" I said with a straight face, trying to keep my cool in front of everyone.

"WHY NOT? YOU SEEM INTO HER!?!" Yelled the blue haired idiot.

I just have him an evil eye and kept walking as people chattered around us about the school carnival that was going on.

"Hey Kid! Are you going to be donating one of your famous cakes to the carnival?" Asked Mama who was holding a clipboard and writing stuff down.

"Um yeah, are you and Soul?" I asked her as she scribbled stuff down onto a piece of paper.

"What? Oh no. It seems me and Soul are both REALLY bad bakers!" She laughed.

"Well if you excuse me, I have to go do ANOTHER balloon count!" She smiled and walked away.

"Kid, your father would like to speak to you" Said Spirit in a pissed tone.

"Why exactly?" I wondered. Father never wants to see me unless its important.

"Just come on. Dumbass" He whispered the last part

I just followed behind him and headed towards the death room.

"Father, you wanted to see me?" I asked father who was facing away from me.

"Kid, I have to ask you something... Where is the book of Eibon?" He questioned.

"Its back at my place. Don't worry, its in a safe place!" I smiled calmly.

"Then how come Medusa has it?" He asked, turning around and pointing to a image of Medusa holding the book of Eibon.

"How...But....I thought she was dead! Didn't Stein and Spirit kill her, for good?"

"Who knows...Well now she has the book of Eibon and do you know what she could do? She could revive the Kishan all over again and this time, he will be twice as powerful!"

"I don't understand how she could have gotten to it- Wait a moment..." I thought back to a few nights ago at the dinner party.

"Damn it!"

"What is it Kid?"

"My girl frie- My friend, invited a guy over at the dinner party and he seemed oddly suspicious"

"Well tonight at the school carnival, I want you to keep an eye on him. I think he's a student here."

"Will do father" I nodded my head and left the death room.

I saw (y/n) in the hall talking to Patty and Liz which they all seemed to be laughing about something.

"Oh here he comes...good luck" Whispered Liz as her and Patty ran off.

"Hey (y/n)! What have you been up to?"

"Um hehe not much...um well I was wondering- *cough cough* would you...would you like to go to the carnival with me?" She managed to get out while blushing redder than a tomato.

This was a perfect opportunity.

For me to go on a date with (y/n) and to keep an eye in that boy she's friends with.

"You mean, like a date?" I smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"U-U-Um...A-A-A...Date?"

"Yeah, A date"

"Um...Alright" She smiled and awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.

"Good, its a date" I winked and she cheered than ran towards Liz and Patty who were watching from around the corner.

'Its a date' I repeated in my head.
