Before we get into the story, I must warn you

Before we get into the story, I must warn you. If you're familiar with the Eva In Peril side mission in RDR1, you know it's very, very dark. It involves domestic abuse at the best and implies sex trafficking and other kinds of awful, awful abuse at worst. Unfortunately, I chose to lean into some of those darker implications because I thought it made for a more compelling story.

This means that Eva's life SUCKS. She has trauma from really, really awful things in her past, including being a victim of sex trafficking, childhood sexual assault, multiple different types of rape, and various other awful things. I don't plan to go into exact details about it or write any scenes portraying anything even close to rape, but because it's an important part of Eva's story, it'll get brought up a lot, and sometimes in ways that aren't exactly graphic, but might be uncomfortable or triggering for some people. If that bothers you, don't read this. Everyone else should use caution and read at their own risk.

I'll update this with other possible triggers as I go. I don't have a whole outline fleshed out like I usually do because this is being written PURELY for fun/as a creative writing exercise for me. Updates will be sporadic, although as of right now, I usually manage a chapter every other week (this is crossposted on AO3, so don't be alarmed if you see it there! I've had part of it up there for over a month now). Be patient. I do EVENTUALLY finish what I start.

[Insert shameless plug for my Twitch channel and virtual photography Instagram/Twitter pages here. Plz see my Wattpad Profile for links and more details and consider hanging out with me on Twitch on Sundays to talk about this story if you like it. I stream RDR2 content from 1-5pm EST every week]

Thanks for reading! Please feel free to vote/comment on this if you enjoy it (or even if you hate it!), and make sure to follow me for more awesome RDR/RDR2 stories!
