24. Manik's anger or ...

Nan: looking at your expressions, I think you remember it clearly. And now if the flashbacks are done, can we come back to present and start with our lessons?

Manik got furious on recalling the past, he just goes away from there and heads towards his room.

Nan: Mr. Vedant, would you please go and call Mr. Malhotra? We have already wasted a lot of time.

Dhruv was about to go when Mukti stops him.

Muk: Why should Dhruv go? You are your tutor and its your job. Remember one thing, FAB 5 DOES EVERYTHING TOGETHER, IF WE ARE IN, WE ARE IN TOGETHER so unless you don't call Manik, we won't start the tuitions.

Nandini shakes her head a little as if thinking about their childish behaviour and starts moving towards Manik's direction.

Dhr: Mukti, why did you send her behind Manik? You know how Manik becomes when he is angry, especially now, when Nandini is herself the reason. He simply goes out of control.

Muk (smiling evilly): That's why I have sent her to face Manik's real anger because we all know facing Manik's anger is not like facing our challenges. It is way worse than that.

Al: Wow Mukti, that sounds like a plan. Now she would definitely be out.

Nandini was looking for Manik when she hears some sounds coming from a room. She goes in the direction of sound and finds Manik throwing and breaking thinks to calm himself.

Nan: so Mr. Malhotra needs to break things to control his anger.

Manik turns back to find Nandini, the last person he wished to see at the moment. He was furious, angry on himself, he was a confused soul at the moment. He didn't know why he was getting angry. On recalling the past, he was getting furious at the way students were laughing and making fun of Nandini. And this is why he was getting angry at himself that why is it affecting him so much. He was not able to understand why he was feeling this way. Why instead of being angry at Nandini for ruining his jacket and throwing it at him, and now rejecting his offer, he was angry at those students who humiliated her yesterday and on the freshers. He was already distributed with Cabir's words, and now this added more to his fuming anger, and in that anger he went close to Nandini and got hold of her shoulders and pinned her to a wall, standing very close to her.

Man (getting angry): Why are you doing this? You only show your attitude towards me, couldn't you smack those asses' heads yesterday who were passing disgusting comments on you?

Nandini gets surprised on hearing this from him, she didn't know that Manik was angry in hearing those comments. She thought it doesn't matter to him, but now hearing all this she was taken off-guard and somewhere down in her heart, she felt a different feeling, something that she never felt in her life, something that she herself couldn't explain. She was still in those thoughts when Manik snapped her out of her thoughts.

Man (shouting): Speak up damn it!!

Mukti and Alya were getting all happy on hearing Manik shout on Nandini. Now they were sure that today is Nandini's last day as their tutor.

Nandini doesn't answer Manik, she moves Manik and comes out of his hold.

Nan: Mr. Malhotra we need to start our classes so please come down.

Saying so she starts moving out of the messed room, when Manik again stops her by grabbing her wrist and turning her with a force, the force was such that Nandini stumbled on the clothes scattered around on the ground and falls taking Manik with her, both fall on the bed with Manik on top of her. 

As soon as their eyes met, both again felt the connection between them but Nandini broke the eye lock soon and tried to push Manik bringing hi out of his trance. Manik holds Nandini's hands on the sides to stop her from pushing him.

Man (in a deep lost voice): Why are you doing this? Why are you taking all these challenges? Wy don't you leave?

Nan: Why do you want me to leave?

Man: Because I don't want you close to me.

Nandini gets hurt on hearing this. For the first time in 2 years, she was hurt with his words. She didn't know why but she did. Manik sees the pain that came in her eyes. He came close to her and continued in same voice.

Man: Don't come near me Nandini. I only harm people and you have seen that. I can easily harm you.

Nan: why?

Man (still lying in the same position): Because you get the real me out, you get all my emotions out even those which I have kept hidden and have not allowed anyone to see them. You reach there and force me to get them out.

Nan: Then stop running, running is not a solution, why are you running away?

Man: Because I have no choice.

Nan: We always have a choice, it's just that at times we are scared to see and accept that choice, fear of losing it but unless you don't choose, you won't know the outcome of your choice. If you have something that gives you peace, that gives you happiness, that connects your happiness with dear one's happiness, don't let that choice go. Seeing you happy not only gives us happiness but also to those who who love you, who wish to see you happy.

We are defined by our choice Manik and its you who has to make a definition for yourself. Choose wisely...

On hearing his name instead of Mr. Malhotra from Nandini, Manik fells a different feeling. He unconsciously get so close to Nandini that now he was lying completely on her, with his full weight on Nandini and face few centimeters away from her and continues speaking in his deep voice.

Man: You are not supposed to understand me so well Nandini, nor are you supposed to affect me so much.

Nandini for the first time was not able to say anything. As Manik's proximity was giving her a complete different feel, a feeling of being safe, a feeling of being secured. She was not able to understand her own feelings. which she found alien to her.

Manik got more closer to her and kept his forehead on hers.

Man: Why are you doing this Nandini?
