—NIGHTFALL—
The moonlight was guiding his path so he followed it, his limping decreased gradually and he was able to walk properly, healing.
He was caught in unknown waters and if it wasn't for the Witch saving him he wasn't sure what would've been his fate.
If he would've been able to see the dark of night
"Why are you following me?" He halted and flipped around facing the ginger-head girl following him religiously
"I don't know your mother" He gritted in frustration "and I'm not fond of repeating myself"
Her eyes slightly widened at being addressed directly
"But you're a Jeon" She uttered "and— and you might not be the only Jeon of your family" She elaborated but was quick to notice she might've assumed out of the line of personal respect. She had no clue of him alone nor the existence of his family.
"Unless I'm mistaken. I apologize for my insistence I'm adamant about finding my mother I haven't—"
"I said I'm not fond of repeating"
"I know I heard you the first time" She sighed lifting the hood of her cloak by the edge of the velvet that covered half of her face and fixing it on top of her hairline to be able to see him properly "I'm only trying to describe my reason to follow"
"And I forbid you from doing so" He was keen on not allowing any following hindrance on his way back even if it was a whole person
"You cannot forbid me, I understand you're tensed I wouldn't bother you if I wasn't frantic to find my mother— I—" She sighed again stopping herself from repeating her perturbing thoughts "You're my sole hope at this moment. I've been searching for days just please, please let me come with you. Your pack must've somehow known some piece of knowledge about it" with no regret at showing weakness she pleaded
Her chocolate brown eyes shone visibly with unwavering resolve and it did something to Jeon's heart, he was aware he was fighting a lost cause. Aware she wouldn't leave without answer which is why he stopped to talk when they reached a reasonable distance safe from Cristeria.
"I'm not familiar with witches neither is my pack" Still he tried a last-ditch effort
"You don't have to be, there is truth to her word in which she mentioned your family name that led me to you" She laid her points proficiently Jeon could see she was clever "I just need answers whether those are beneficial or not I will deal it. Let me come."
He didn't answer instead he turned back around and continued on his walking. Without another word, tugging the hood down the hairline silently she followed

The white moon was high in the sky which means they've been walking for quite a long time now, in eerie quietness with just the sounds of their footsteps crunching dry leaves beneath their feet.
Jeon didn't expect the Witch to be silent for so long. She didn't utter a syllable of complaint at the rigorous walking.
He could shift and move faster to reach the desired end in no time but the injuries made it difficult impeding his ability to channel his strength.
