Josh's POV: We all waited patiently until Cherry had gone for her morning's shift as usual. Then us four lads huddled round the fireplace. "I want her right this second." George sighed.
"So do I." Jaymi, of all people, said.
"Oh, but hang on a second, you only started talking to her properly a couple of days ago!" I smirked.
"You've only been matey with her for about a week!" George laughed.
"You all shrugged her off to begin with." JJ quietened us all. "You all judged her, admit it, you did. You all thought because she was a stripper girl she'd be all beauty and no brains, right? You didn't think she'd have a heart, either. But she does. She's different to all your stereotypes. She's beautiful for sure. Naturally, too. She's actually so clever, she knows the way around all of Vegas with her eyes shut. And her heart is huge. She thanked me so much for taking her in. She confided in George about the truths of youth. She became great companions with Josh. And she got Jaymi's confidence back. I think we all owe her a massive thank you, to be honest."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, we're leaving tomorrow, remember?"
"You what?" George's face fell.
"It's gone so fast." Jaymi sighed.
"Oh my god, how are we gonna say goodbye to her?" My face pitted with agony.
"More importantly, where is she gonna live when we're gone?" JJ suddenly panicked. "I completely forgot. We'll need to sort her somewhere out."
"Definately." Jaymi agreed. "Man I'm gonna miss her, her hugs especially."
"I'm gonna miss running in the dark with her." Josh smiled a little.
"I'm gonna miss seeing her on that tyre every single day, and watching her perform." JJ sighed.
"I'm just gonna miss everything about her." George looked at the ground.
J's POV: "Oh Jesus." Tears began to form in Josh's eyes. "I don't think I can live without her anymore."
"There there Josh, we'll still keep in touch." Jaymi comforted him.
"Sorry." He ran to the bathroom and locked the door behind him. I think he wanted to be alone while he cried for her.
Cherry's POV: I let my hair fall from my ugly mart hairnet, took off my work uniform and changed into a grey eagle sweater and some American flag shorts. I jogged back to the hotel to find JJ, George and Jaymi looking grave, trying to keep their emotions to themselves. I then heard muted sobs coming from the bathroom. Josh.
"Josh, what's wrong honey?" I ran to his side, letting him rest his head on my shoulder. He kept trying to get the words out but they were incoherent because of his sniffling and uneven breathing. "Calm down, Josh. Take deep breaths, that's it. You'll be okay, sunshine."
"I don't think I will, Chez." Tears kept streaming down his face.
"You will. Tell me why you're crying, please Josh." I pleaded.
"It's nothing, I'm just being a crying sod. I'm fine." He insisted.
"Josh, you don't cry for no reason. I just want to help you."
"You can't."
"Why not?"
"...We're flying back to the UK tomorrow."
"...Oh gosh." It didn't quite sink in properly. Tonight would be my last ever night with these four guys. After that, who knows if I'd ever see them again? I've known many males over my short lifetime, but none have stood out quite like these four Englishmen. They've made such a huge impact- they've been a huge part of my life. And to have them leave me....is going to be quite hard.
