⠀⠀⠀dear reader, welcome! in a nutshell, this fanfiction is all about me writing impulsively after bingeing peaky blinders. again. for the fourth time. what am i doing with my life, you may ask? i'm afraid even i don't have the answer. still, i cannot thank you enough, dear reader, for checking my story out. hang in there while i try to finish (for the first time ever) this story.

⠀⠀⠀i do have to warn you : this fanfiction is not for the faint hearted for it will include mature themes such as alcohol consumption, drug use, graphic violence, sexual assault and sexual scenes — as well as an awful lot of swearing. i am responsible for what i write, but i am not, in any case, responsible for what you decide to read. please be aware.
⠀⠀⠀most importantly, this story partly revolves around trauma (ptsd) and how to cope, to heal. it is important that you are also aware of the fact that i will do my best to portray mental instability — by doing so, i do hope that i won't trigger anyone. and before we begin, let me spread a little bit of mental awareness : you are not alone in your struggles. feel free to talk, always. <3
⠀⠀⠀we begin in 1919, just like the series. the story will therefore follow the evens of season one — with a twist, obviously. i do not own peaky blinders' storyline. however, for logical/plot related reasons, i will of course modify some things and add characters. every change is a product of my work and is mine and mine alone ; plagiarism, copy or theft will not be tolerated and will ensure judiciary prosecutions.
