the alarm goes off to get up
Jesse moves in his sleep "hey its time to get up" I whisper
he moves some more and then he finally gets up
but I dont move
"you gonna get your butt up?" he ask "no im off today" I laugh
"well you suck. your making me go down to the beach all by myself" he says going into the bathroom
I get out of bed and walk into the kitchen
Jesse walks in "ill be down at the beach in a little bit" I say. "you better" "yea I think im gonna come bother you guys. maybe surf. tan a little"
he grabs his things and walks out the door.
I walk back to my room and get in the bed and fall back asleep for a little bit

I opened my eyes to the sun shining through my windows
Something I'm not used to waking up to.
I crawl out of bed and grab my phone deciding to call one of my best friend I met after moving here.
I haven't talk to her since I came back
The phone rang and she answered
"Y/n" she says "hi laela" "what are you up to?" She ask "ya know just at my apartment" "you mean your apartment? As I'm your apartment that's 10 minutes away from me?" She ask to Clarify
"Yea" I laugh "you didn't tell me you were back" "I know I'm so sorry I figured you were busy because I haven't heard from you" I say "just a little family buissness" she says
"Well I was calling to ask if you wanted to go to the beach and surf, maybe tan? Just hangout?" I ask
"I haven't been down to the beach since the last time we went together" she says "well wanna meet me at my house?"
"Yea I'll be right over" she say happily and then hangs up the phone
I go into the bathroom and decide to straighten my hair even though it's gonna get wet i don't care
It was around like 9am so it was still early
There was a knock on the door I went and opened it to reveal laela I hugged her "it's been so long" she says
she comes In she had a bag in her hand
Laela had a purple bikini on
we walk into my room and pick out a bikini for me it was dark green and cute
I walk into the bathroom and put it on.
I pull some shorts and a tshirt over it
I grab my back pack and put some extra clothes in it.
we pack a few snacks and other things
we grab water bottles and fill them up.
I grab my wetsuit from my bedroom
we walk out of my apartment and to my jeep.
we take the top off and then put our stuff in.
we then grab our boards and put them in.
we get in and head to the beach.

I park in the parking lot and we get all of our stuff out and walk for the tower
we lay our stuff down outside as we walk in
sitting in the tower were Jesse, maxi, mouse, and whippet
behind me Laela walks in
"hey boys" I say gaining there attention
"you guys remember Laela" I say as she stands beside me.
maxi's face turns bright red
Jesse nudges him
maxi and Laela have always liked each other but never told each other. everyone knows and everyone sees it
