Letter

Morning came...

Y/N woke up early but she doesn't feel like accompanying her brother to his morning practice. Every time she hears about volleyball, it's him who flashes in through her mind first, that kind and friendly senpai. She would avoid going to the gym, loitering around the school grounds and unbelievably go home ahead without her brother. This routine could have lasted longer but because Shouyou couldn't take this sudden change of his sister's behaviour anymore, he decided to ask her directly...

"Y/N, are you feeling unwell?"

"Eh? No... Why would you ask that?"

"Well, lately you haven't been like usual."

"T-thank you for worrying about me,Shou-nii but I'm perfectly okay!" You said, giving him the best smile you have.

And that's when she realize that she's actually running away...

But from what?

What happened in her first day of highschool, it's not a big deal. She doesn't want the things right now to continue as it is. She wants to spend her school life with her other half just like before so she decided to be brave and face the situation honestly.

The next day...

Y/N walked with Shouyou on the way to school but then he began running, leaving her behind, when he saw the raven haired boy. When she opened her locker, a simple white envelope greeted her. She looked around, trying to get a hint from the people around her but no one seems to notice.

"Suga, what are you doing there?" Daichi asked the platinum boy who seems to be hiding behind the corner of the entrance of the hall.

"D-daichi--" startled, he turned around to face him.

"Just now, were you spying on some--"

"I-it's not like that! It's nothing. Let's go to the gym." He said, avoiding any further interrogation.

At lunch break...

While no one's looking, Y/N read the letter that she got in her locker.

"Hi,
I don't know if you still remember me, but we've met once before. Eversince that day, I couldn't really get you out of my mind.

I really want to know more about you."

There's really nothing much in the letter aside from that brief message. There's no name nor any other information written. Y/N has no clue who the sender is. It's a little weird but she was intrigued.

What is the goal of this person for not putting any information on the letter?

It's not the first time that she received an admiration letter. Y/N is a little popular more than she knows but she doesn't care nor talk about it much to other people, even to her brother.

She placed the letter back into her bag and proceed to her twin's class with her lunch box. Eversince she entered highschool, this will be her first time eating lunch together at school again so that makes her especially happy.

She hummed her way with a skip on her every step to her beloved Shou-nii's classroom.

"Shou-nii, let's eat together!"

"Y/N--" Shouyou looked a bit surprised but that's just probably because she's back to her usual self.

"Eh? Hinata, who's that?"
"Whoa, she's cute."
"Hmm, are you the rumored twin sister?"

Shouyou's classmates were so curious about her but she... actually likes it. Y/N likes it when people shows interest to their relationship. She likes bragging about that they are real twins. Shoyou, on the other hand, already got used to it.

Y/N is very pleased that the day is going easy as she wanted but then again, there's still this liiittle problem after school. It's not impossible that she would meet him, that pastel-colored senpai, since he and her brother are in the same club but it's too late to back out now.

As soon as she finished all of her duties, she head straight to the gym where the volleyball team is. She stopped at the entrance, wandering if it's okay to watch them practice while waiting for her brother but after hearing their intense and enthusiastic voices from inside, she just doesn't have the heart to interrupt them at all.

"Oh! It's the twin sister!"

Y/N was startled by the voice from behind. When she turned around, she saw a boy with spiky hair and a streak of gold in the middle. He's holding a water bottle and a towel.

"Uhm... Hello." She faced him and gave a small bow.

"Are you looking for Shouyou? We're still in the middle of practice so--"

"Can I wait for him? I mean, is it OK for me to watch while waiting for my brother?"

"Hmm? Of course! Just be quiet, okay?" He said while flashing her a charming grin.

"Okay!" She replied with a cheerful smile.

Y/N stayed at the side, trying her best not to catch any attention. Everyone seem to be so focused on their training. Her face naturally softened and smiled when she saw the bright colored head moving around the court. When she glanced to the other direction, her eyes met someone else's.

The color of amber was directed towards her direction.
