Chapter 2

          "Yes ma'am I know it was rude, it was a way to make me feel better," I said defending myself. "Well she was very upset when she heard about it. We don’t encourage these things called 'diaries'." I was really confused about this when she said it, because doesn’t everyone have a diary? She saw the confused look on my face and said, "I'm sorry but you are being expelled from The Academy for Special and Gifted Children." I was shocked. Why was I even here? I didn’t belong in this school. Well I guess that means now I have to go to public school. At least I won't go to school with Maci."Your friend Maci is being expelled also after we have read your diary and found out what she has done to you," she said angrily. Well that ruined my happiness! When the announcement went over the intercom very loud sighs and gasps filled the air. I bet a lot they weren't for me.

          The principle instructed me to call my mom and tell her what happened and that I got expelled and it was supposed to be started immediately. She was not happy. The car ride was full of awkward silence until we pulled into the driveway. When I got inside I had a lot of questions to answer for her. First was, "How could you be expelled from a school for gifted and talented people?" and "Why would you say that about Maci, I thought she was your best friend?" she knew I wouldn’t answer any of them so she just decided to forget about it. "If you want to go back to school I have some phone calls to make," she said in a very unhappy tone. I was just about to go to my room when my phone started vibrating.
