~One week later~

*Ding!*

I stepped out of the elevator.

I was infront of the door where the FBIs were.

It has been a week after they've interviewed me.

I haven't seen them after that.

I don't know if they want me here, but I still have the guts to show myself to them.

*Ding! Dong!*

I pressed the doorbell.

Not for long, someone opened.

"Uhh...It's Miss Y/N." The guy announced

"Just as expected...Let her in..." A voice said

"Umm...Am I a distraction here?" I asked as I stepped in

"No, not really." Mello said

It was awkward. No one was approaching me.

*Ding! Dong!*

The elevator has practically announced that someone is here.

A man with blonde hair and black highlights entered the door.

"Good Mornin'!" The guy said

"And, what brings you here, Kaganto-kun?" Matt asked

Matt's POV

Someone had just got out of the elevator and stepped inside this hotel room.

I was busy with my PSP, but I still took a quick glance.

"And, what brings you here, Kaganto-kun?" I asked

Nayuk Kaganto was once a member of the police force. He got fired...He was drank in one of those days while he's a member of the police force.

Because of it, he unknowingly punched and kicked Matsuda.

It was three years ago, but Matsuda was still sending Nayuk death glares.

"Just want to know how the case was going. And to meet Y/N." He answered, Y/N seemed shock to hear her name.

I stared at Y/N, giving Nayuk a hint that it's her.

Nayuk turned to his side as his eyes widen when he saw Y/N.

"Holy shit, Mello! You're right!" He exclaimed

"Excuse me?" Y/N coldly replied

"Told you. Pretty, huh?" Mello got up and stood next to Nayuk.

At the corner of my eye, I saw Matsuda staring at Nayuk like he want to kill that guy.

I have a feeling that Matsuda is mad because of something else, not because of Nayuk beating him.

"Tell me, you single?" Nayuk asked

"Aish! I'm leaving..." Y/N got frustrated.

Looks like Y/N isn't flattered.

This Mello and Nayuk are such playboys...They both love picking on girls like crazy.

"Hey, hey...You can't leave. Near finally accepted you here." Mello said.

Y/N's hand was already holding onto the doorknob.

She turned to her back, her shocked expression was priceless.

She was cold everysince last week. Unlike the time when we first saw her. She was loving, affectionate and nice during that time.

Wonder what's gotten into her.

She has been acting sarcastically.

Near was asking Y/N questions. Some questions that are supposed to be asked.

For example; Why are you interested in becoming a detective?

Nayuk was still asking Y/N out.

I have to admit, Nayuk is a good looking guy. Apparently, Y/N seemed to be uninterested in becoming Nayuk's girl.

Mello sat down beside me.

"So, are you still gonna hold that PSP?" He asked

"Huh?" I hummed in confusion

"You're just staring at Y/N. Besides, you lost." He said

I looked down at my PSP.

On the screen, 'Game Over' was written.

"You should just admit it." Mello said

"That you like that girl, Y/N." Mello said

"I don't. In fact, I was just looking at her because I have something in thought." I stated

"What could it be?" He asked

"Y/N was acting differently from how she acted during her first day here." I Answered

"Huh? Not really...She's still the same. Sarcastic, mean, cold, hard hearted." Mello senied my statement

"No, she's not... During her first day here. That time when we were about to start the meeting, I carried her to my room. She cleaned it all for me. During the time when I escorted her to her room, she cooked a roasted chicken for me." I said

"Maybe...Uhh...Maybe she's only nice to someone like you." He replied

"What could be the reason for that?" I asked

"Uhh...Perhaps, she's one of your admirers." Mello grinned

"It would be a big trouble then." I declared

"Liar...You know yourself that you like her." He said

"Shut up!" I exclaimed

I walked away. Behind the wall, I hid.

I listened to Near and Y/N's conversation.

"I'm not really interested in this. I just want to help. After my sister is defeated, I'll stop annoying you...You'll have a peaceful world again. With me here, you're gonna want to lock yourself in your room untill I leave." She told Near

"I see...What if your sister dies?" Near asked Y/N

"Just go out with me...I promise, it'll be your favorite day." Nayuk said

"Near, I hoped that it won't come to death. She's the only family that I have. My mom died, so did my dad. I don't want to be alone." She said, ignoring Nayuk.

I was still hiding. Silence filled the room.

Huh? Why did they stopped?

"Why are you hiding, Matt?" Near asked

"Uhh...Nothing!" I ran to my room.
