Intro Thing

So this is just a short little fic that I got the idea for and decided to write for the hell of it.

A Prodigal Son and Top Gear UK fic that pairs Malcolm Bright up with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May in a foursome ship. Why? Fuck knows.... I got the idea, and I'm just rolling with it.

Definitely not exactly the two fandoms you'd think to crossover, but hey, not the weirdest crossover idea I've had!

It's also an omegaverse mpreg, with omega!Malcolm, omega!Richard, alpha!Jeremy, and beta!James. And it's mpreg with Malcolm, not Richard.

And Malcolm is also intersex, so he has both parts. I just like writing different versions of omegas I guess, like, a small percentage of male omegas in my a/b/o fics have both parts and are much more fertile than male omegas who don't.

Now, this is set around January of 2015, so series 22 of Top Gear, before the whole incident that had the boys leaving the BBC and moving over to Amazon for The Grand Tour.

Which means the Prodigal Son timeline has to be played around with. By being set four years after the events of season 2, which in this AU happened in 2011, so the events of Prodigal Son is pushed back by ten years (assuming season 2 is set in early 2021), then another four years have passed since the season 2 finale. Does that make sense?

And also if you want to know, because maybe you're just not familiar with Clarkson, Hammond, and May, or you don't know how old each of them are, there will be age gap in this fic.

So... Malcolm is 9 years younger than Richard, 15 years younger than James, and 18 years younger than Jeremy. Which should be correct if my maths is right (and you should hopefully be able to work out the age differences between Richard, James, and Jeremy from that).

I think I might also write a full longfic in this AU with how Malcolm ended up with Richard, James, and Jeremy, but for now this short little fic will do.

Actually, you know what? Fuck it, I'm gonna write a longfic for this at some point after this little mini fic. Probably not straight away after, but it's gonna happen. Will most definitely end up as a duology, so the first book will be set in the Top Gear years, so 2011 (which is the year Malcolm got with the guys in this AU) to 2015. Then book two will be set in the Grand Tour years, so 2015/16 and onwards. And I'll also be making a one-shots book to go along with this series, just for any little things I'd like to add to this AU, that don't necessarily need to go in the main duology. And to be completely honest, I'll probably end up posting the one-shots book before I've even finished the main duology.

This little mini fic here is really just a collection of one-shots set in this AU, set in early 2015, like, January/February. Not too long until the incident in March that had CHM leaving Top Gear. So it'll take place roughly between both books, or around the end of the first and beginning of the second (the second book will start off pretty close to when Clarkson punched their producer in March 2015). And since this is an mpreg, Malcolm will be pregnant in every chapter, like around his second trimester I think.

And this I suppose will be able to be read as a standalone fic. Kinda just me testing out the waters on this foursome, and I already dig it.

Also, just to let ya know if anyone is interested, I do plan on writing a few one-shots and a fic that just pairs Malcolm up with Richard, and I've already written a little one-shot with Malcolm, James, and Richard, but since it's a little smut one-shot, it's only up on my Ao3 account (which is Candy_Kittens btw).
