The sound of my morning alarm, woke me up from a deep sleep. My weak eyes slowly opened, squinting from the slight sunlight coming though the window. Jupies soft snores slowly stopped and he gruffly got up, yawning. I stretched while getting out of bed, reminiscing about the eventful night before. Honestly I was just glad to be home all safe with Jupie. About that maybe I should call my mom and tell her about last night since I forgot to call her yesterday, she would probably what to know what's going on with my life.

I grab my phone and see all the missed calls and text messages from Sarah.  Instead of calling mom I decided to call Sarah. The phone rang multiple time before it went to voicemail. I guess she was still asleep, but as soon as I was about to set the phone down my phone started buzzing, and Sarah's name popped up on the screen. I tried to answers it but my phone must have died because the screen turned black and when I tried the power button and  the screen showed 0%.

I must've forgotten to charge it last night. I plug in my phone to start the charging process and started getting ready.

After getting ready for school and taking Jupie on a quick walk. I made my way to the front doors of the school. I dodged many people, who weren't paying attention to where they were going, as my eyes caught a glimpse of a blonde haired girl rushed past everyone straight towards me.

Sarah practically ran towards me engulfing me with a hug, complemented by her giggles of relief.

"Oh thank goodness your alright? You didn't answer any of my calls last night " She spoke quickly ending the hug that she gave me. I looked around at all the side eyes I was getting from people I didn't recognize.

"I'm so sorry my phone died when I tried to call you back this morning, anyways why would I not be alright? I've only been away from school only a few hours" I replied laughing adjusting my heavy backpack.

"Did you not see the news last night? The bank and a couple of there small shops were damaged last night, including our favorite sandwich hangout spot. It all started in the bank and the other shops caught fire and were destroyed, and Spiderman was there." She quickly spat out the words trying to get it all out with one go, gasping for air. It took a fat minute to process what exactly she had just blurted out.

"Ohh, yeah. I was there" I replied casually.

"What do you mean you were there!! And you didn't tell me first thing!" She almost yelled in shock.

"Sorry I tota-"  Sarah cut me off and quickly replied.

"So you saw the friendly neighborhood Spiderman, in real life. Like not on the screen or in videos??"

"Yeah" we headed into the school towards our locker.

"Was he tall? Is he cute? Do you think he is and old man? He could be like fifty." Sarah continued to ask more questions that I couldn't really answer.

" Well he's taller than me, I don't know I couldn't see his face, and I have no clue, his voice sounded younger than fifty that's for sure."

Sarah smiled, and embraces me in another loving hug as we made our way to our first period, math.  Sadly Sarah didn't have the same math teacher as me, but the one across the hall. We said our goodbyes and walked into the chattering classrooms.

I walked to my desk, along the wall towards the back. I smiled when Josie walked in rushing to her seat behind me.

"I heard you met Spiderman" she said excitedly as I look into her eyes, how in the world could she have possibly known.

"How did you.... Um" Josie didn't even say a word but held out her phone to show a text message from Sarah.

"Just got the text before walking into class, CC that's so crazy meeting a superhero in person."

"Yeah, I guess it was pretty cool but I was scared, that Jupie would have been hurt, because he ran into a burning building."

"Oh my goodness, really?" Her eyes widened as the bell rang and she whispered something about how she hates math and I nodded in agreement.

The class fell silent and our teacher started stating what we are going to be doing today. She called role and repeated a few names of the student who were gone.

"Ned, Ned Leeds" she whispered ok and checked the paper off. "Is Peter Parker here?" She asked looking around the class as almost everyone shook their head. That's a first, Peter and Ned have always attended everyday of school so far this year. Not that I was looking at them or anything.

As if on cue the door of the classroom quickly swung open. Peter and Ned stumbled in, out of breath and holding what looked like a bunch of legos in a plastic bag.

"I'm so sorry Mrs. Henry, I missed the bus this morning and had to have aunt May get up and drive me."  His brown hair was all messed up as if he just woken up. It was oddly... attractive. No stop what are you thinking. This is the weirdo we're talking about and Sarah's crush.

Ned next to him put his hands on his knees "yeah... ran all the way to class" he heaved. He held up a finger "give me a second".

"You two can take your seats now" Mrs. Henry said monotoned while remarking her list.
