-- One week later --

We were gearing up for another battle - me, Ally, Emily, and Chizo. This past week has been all about getting me and Ally used to Turf Wars and Ranked Battles. We qualified for the Splunker League with relative ease and are now fighting our first match in the Round of 16 against a higher-skilled team in our first competitive Splat Zones match. The progress Ally and I have made since we convinced Master Shrewmain to put us on the team and then rotate between Emily and Kara as well as McKoto and Chizo has been phenomenal. We've gotten into so many matches and have begun winning more than we were losing. Ever since that day when Marie enlisted my help in the war against the Octarians, I've gotten to do so much in such a short amount of time, and with Ally alongside me, we became almost impossible to beat. We knew we still had a long ways to grow, though, so we agreed to stay it and never stop fighting until the end. The buzzer chimed and the match began.

Meanwhile, Callie and Marie went back on the map recently with their latest tour, in which they featured their newest track, "Fresh Start." We were there for that performance (all of us, including the master) and it felt so inspiring and refreshing to watch the Squid Sisters back in action after a long hiatus. Marie told me one time when I visited her again that she and Callie were trying to do more stuff together, even being able to work for the same production studio. They felt more natural together, and it really hit home when they performed on TV as well as on stage. It was awesome getting to see them again.

In the end, I'd say things worked out a lot better than they could have otherwise. If there ever comes a time when you feel worthless or left out, don't sweat it. Your time will come eventually. This felt like a breath of fresh air for me and it's something you can experience too.

And that's my story - the story of the blast I had with the Octarians, my friends, and most importantly, Callie and Marie.

Thanks for coming along!
