Apple stood there in shock, unable to move. It was almost as if she was petrified. The Evil Queen's voice coming out of Maria's voice rang through her mind, and even then she saw the Evil Queen herself speaking.

"What in the hex just happened?" Sparrow shouted.

Raven turned toward him, then back at me. She nudged my shoulder. I wouldn't move.

"Cupid, did something happen to her in the dorms?" Raven asked.

"She was just... very emotional," Cupid admitted.

Sparrow looked down at the floor, remembering their fight.

Raven looked at him suspiciously. "Did you do something to her?"

Sparrow shook his head nervously.

"He didn't do anything," I said weakly, moving my arm. I slowly sat up and rubbed my head.

"What happened? What did you see?" Raven blurted.

"I was using my magic to set up the sound system and I all of a sudden felt... angry. Then, I saw this image of a woman that looks kind of like you, Raven," I explained.

Apple shook slightly, remembering the Evil Queen turning from a teenager into an unaged woman not too long ago.

Raven turned to Sparrow. "How long do we have till the concert?"

"An hour, but people usually start arriving soon," Tucker explained.

"Keep it postponed as long as you can. We need to go," Raven explained.

Apple gave her a questioning look and Raven nodded, knowing Apple was reading her mind. Apple followed behind both of them to the Headmaster's office. Raven knocked on the door.

Headmaster Grimm told them to come in. "Headmaster, we need to speak to my mother," she said bluntly.

Headmaster Grimm scoffed, wide-eyed. "Miss Queen, you can't be-"

"Headmaster Grimm, this is urgent. Something happened to Maria on-stage," Raven explained.

Headmaster Grimm sighed and gave in reluctantly. "Listen, all three of you. There is only one rule: don't touch the glass. Are we clear?" the Headmaster asked sternly.

We all nodded.

Headmaster Grimm pushed the button underneath his desk and a door slid open. We walked up to the top of the tower. I was shivering slightly. We reached the top of the staircase and the purple mirror swirled. I stood directly in front of the mirror a few feet away, keeping the rule in mind.

"Aunt Queen," I breathed as the Evil Queen appeared in the glass.

The Evil Queen smiled wickedly and noticed my accomplices. "Hello, Maria," the Evil Queen replied.

"Why and how did you do that?" Raven asked.

"Do what?" the Evil Queen asked.

"Possess Maria and almost destroy the Charmitorium," Apple snapped.

"The Mirror Prison has weakened ever since you recaptured me. I tapped into Maria's anger and went from there." Evil Queen smirked.

"Just because I was angry does not mean you can take over my body like that!" I exclaimed.

"The boy doesn't want his destiny, Maria. He doesn't want his happily ever after with you like you do with him. I just wanted to talk to him," Evil Queen explained innocently.

"By almost injuring him? I may not be talking to him right now, but that doesn't give you the right to do that!" I said.

"Wait a minute, Mom. She's your niece?" Raven realized.

The Evil Queen rolled her eyes. "Took you long enough, Birdie. I wanted to tell you, but then again, she went missing so long ago I thought you wouldn't believe me."

"I'm your cousin," I confirmed.

"How do you know this?" Raven asked.

"Aunt Queen showed me my birth Mom, her sister during that whole... episode? She died shortly after she gave birth to me, which is how I ended up getting adopted. You know the rest of it from there," I explained.

"And now you have your little bird to comfort you in your tragic life. Oh wait, you don't. He would rather choose his own path than be with you."

Apple walked up to you protectively, putting a hand on your shoulder.

"I was going to talk about it with him while we were setting up, but instead you dropped in and took the dark path," I explained.

"Maria, what happened to you and Sparrow?" Raven asked.

"Oh, she didn't tell you? She was furious after she found out Sparrow didn't want his happily ever after like she did. I guess you would say that they were on different chapters, like you and that boy are." Evil Queen smiled.

Raven shook her head. "No more, mother. Don't ever do that again, or we will know who did it and ask Headmaster Grimm to deal with you again."

We walked out of the room and back into the office. I didn't say anything to Headmaster Grimm as we walked out of the office and back into the Charmitorium.

There was a full crowd by then, people bouncing in their seats while waiting for the concert to start. I snuck around the side and into the backstage area. I grabbed my guitar and tried to find Sparrow.

I finally spotted him looking out of the side of the curtain. He looked at me and hugged me.

"Is everything okay?" he asked, pulling away quickly while realizing his mistake.

"I'm fine now. But, I wanted to talk to you about earlier," I said.

"Listen-"

"Ladies and gentlemen, The Merry Men!" the announcer said.

We sighed and I used my magic to make you levitate. The curtain opened and the band began to play. The crowd cheered. I waited for the exact right moment.

A random guitar's playing--mine--suddenly filled the room. The boys stopped playing and looked around dumbly. I held back a laugh as you slowly floated down, my eyes glowing mischievous pink. The crowd began to murmur, wondering who this girl was and why she was disturbing their concert.

I fell to the ground and my eyes faded back to their normal (e/c) eyes. I started to play the song, slowly then speeding up faster and faster until it got to its normal speed. Sparrow and Tucker soon joined in, along with the boy. The crowd cheered at my playing. Maybe having a girl in the band wouldn't be such a bad thing after all.

After the concert ended, I felt completely tired. I went backstage when it was done. Sparrow followed in after me.

"What were you saying about earlier?" I asked, striking up the conversation again.

"I was going to say that, I want my destiny to be with you. I'm just not sure if I want all of my destiny," Sparrow explained.

"Then I'll wait."

"What?"

"I'll wait until you decide what you're going to do at Legacy Day. We'll see what happens then," I decided, walking off without saying another word.

Sparrow stood there, staring at the ground. He wanted his destiny with her. He wanted her. But he had to realize that being with her also meant fulfilling his destiny as well.

He walked out of the backstage area. The last few people were leaving the Charmitorium, her following behind them. Sparrow couldn't bear to see her go, both of their hearts broken because of their destiny. Sparrow knew he had to make a choice. It was freedom... or her.
