Chapter 2 - The Bright Red Sign In Front

btw the picture is what you look like (besides from eyes, hair etc but the clothes are the same) and i drew it :)

WELCOME TO HELL

Y/N POV

Welcome to hell? What does that mean? I stand up and continue to look at my surroundings. I kept seeing many demonic beings walking by me. I was skeptical at first to approach anyone, seeing as they all seemed very rude or did not wish to talk to me.

I approached a window that was part of a store on the sidewalk and then i saw it, Me. I had long F/C hair and Black and grew horns that stood stuck in my head. My outfit was a light F/C buttoned top with a long black tie hanging. I wore a small black mini skirt with long boots that had a heel at the bottom, almost like high heels.

My face hadn't changed so much, which was nice. Except my eyes had faded to a dark F/C and i had a snoot nose (haha snoot hehe) I wore black gloves, alongside the arm sleeves, which had a dark F/C fade to it.

I looked around for a while. There really isn't much to do here in hell, is there? I continue my search around the city environment. 

I kept walking around, but i felt like i was being watched around every corner i turned, it was weird. I turned around after i decided this was the final straw, only to be surprised by a big figure standing in-front of me.

This person seemed to be a man. They had the features of a bull. They seemed to be looking down at YOU. You looked back at him. "Can i help you sir?" 

The man started to grin widely. "Indeed you can, missy." The man then started to grab you by the arms and drag you into a nearby alleyway.

You seem to struggle for a good couple seconds, until the mysterious figure loses his grip and you manage to knee him where.. the sun don't shine, and run out of the alleyway, bumping into many different demons along the way.

You settled down on the edge of a building in a quiet street. Panicked, you look around to find barely anyone around you. 

You breathed, realising you are now safe from what is out there, and leaned up against the wall, holding back tears. If this really was hell, then i guess i'll have to be wary of what's out there.

You found a small alleyway that seemed to have no one in it and sat down on some rubble left over from the crumbling building next to this alleyway. 

You have had it with this place, what was its deal anyway? Then you remembered the sign. The sign that you first saw when you popped up in this place. Welcome to HELL. If this really was hell, then that explained a lot of things.

You settled down there and were starting to drift into sleep when you felt a shadow looming over you. You thought it might be one of those demons and was prepared to fight but the figure got the idea that you saw it as a threat and was quick to reassure you. 

"No, no! It's okay, i'm not here to hurt you!" It seemed to be a woman's voice and you looked to see a girl wearing a red suit, alongside red pants and fit with a darker red tuff and a little black bow.

"Sorry to alarm you, miss, but it seems you don't have a place to stay?" She shyly said. You slowly nodded and her face starting gaining a grin. 

"If you need somewhere to stay, we can give you a room at the happy hotel!" The happy hotel? You thought. "You seem really nice, but i don't have any money to pay you with." You said.

You'd only just arrived here a couple of hours ago and have already been harassed, hit, and threatened by many demons today and you really didn't get any chance at looking for a job, if they even had jobs here in hell. "Wellllll, it's free if you are serious about being redeemed!"

  Redemption? In Hell?  "We are hoping to redeem enough souls so that we won't have the annual cleanse every year, and demons won't die!"

You thought about this. A hotel for redemption? in hell of all places? the girl does seem to be quite into this whole 'redemption' thing and plus, it's free. and i won't have to sleep here in this alleyway.

You turned to the girl, who seemed to still be waiting for a response. You sighed. "Ok, i'll do it." She looked like she was like she was literally about to explode. 

"Thank you! Now, i'll lead the way back to the hotel, ok?" She said eagerly. "Uh, sure, i guess?" And stood up as she happily started walking.

The lady started talking to you on the way back to the hotel. "Oh mind my manners, i forgot to ask the most important question, what's your name?" She said excitedly. "Y/N, Y/N L/N." You said nervously. 

"Good to know, my names Charlie, i run the hotel with my girlfriend Vaggie! We don't really have any guests so far, but we are getting there!" She said. We walked up to a rather large building with the words HAZBIN HOTEL At the top of the building.

"Just wait here, Y/N, i'll bring the others out so you can meet them!" She rushes inside, leaving you outside. You lean against the building and close your eyes and start to drift off a bit. You are interrupted by the hotels doors opening with five new people emerging out of the building.

The first one seemed to look feminine, but the voice seemed to be a deeper tone, so you were a bit confused wether or not this was a woman or a man. They wore a pink and white stripped suit with a bunch of fluff puffed up at the top, making it seem like this person had breasts. They wore high heels and neon pink gloves on all.. 4 hands? They seemed to have the look of a spider too.

The second one seemed to be a cat, with black and white fur on his body. The cat had a deep toned voice and had large red wings with poker card symbols on the wings that hung from his back. The cat had large claws and seemed to be an alcoholic, as seen from the beer bottle and the likelihood that he's sober at this time.

The third one was quite small and seemed to even act like a toddler whose parents gave them too much sweets. She had one eye and had wavy short pink and yellow hair. She wore a dress which consisted of a white top and a blue skirt, as well as an ascot around her neck/chin. She seemed to be staring at you, almost as if she was trying to pick out your imperfections.

The fourth one was about average sized and had long grey hair that went all the way down to her knees from the top of her head. Her outfit was a white dress with two black X's with pink and a darker coloured grey patterns for socks. She carried around a large spear which seemed that it could poke out someone's eye. On the subject of eyes, she had one normal looking eye and one which wasn't even an eye, but was replaced with a large red X that she covered with a large strand of her hair.

and finally the fifth one looked like a deer with red ears and deer antlers, alongside the rest of his red messy hair. He wore a red suit, which had a hint of white in the tuff and a lighter tone of red that had streaks though the suit. The suit reached out to the arms where the hands had gloves covering his hands. He wore dark red pants and has black shoes. The man held a staff which seemed to have an eye on the inside of the staff. You looked up at this mysterious man and he looks up at you with a wide smirk, which honestly scared you a little.

"Ok Everyone, This is Y/N, Y/N this is Angel, Husk, Nifty, Vaggie, And Alastor." Everyone looks at you. "Hi.." You say nervously. Everybody walks back inside and you stay out there for a little longer. You look back to the sign.

So this is how it's gonna be now?

1453 words. Wow! that's a lot more than last time but eh it was enjoyable to write! credit to racoon_milkers_ for helping me with making some decisions when it came to writing the plot of this chapter! I'll see you all in the next chapter!
