The blinding light slowly fades away, enough for me to open my eyes to realize I was looking up at a blue sky. The sun was shining down on me. I'm still wearing the cloths I changed into this morning, and laying down on soft grass.

"What the fuck?" I stand up and look around. "Where the hell am I?" I look down at my clothes and see they were baggy on me. "Since when don't these fit me?"

I'm on a field of grass stretching for who knows how long. But turning behind me I see a wall.

A very tall wall.

At 50 meters high, the wall brought back the memories of the darkness and the events that took places seemingly minutes ago.

"Ain't no way I'm in AOT right now. Ain't no way," I stare at the humongous walls, collecting my thoughts.

"I should find out where exactly in the world I am, then when I am, and how I fit in this world and depending on the answers..... mmm I'll see from there," I make my way towards the big gate that was a couple yards away. The baggy clothes made it hard to walk so I stopped and rolled up my pants and sleeves and tying my shoe laces together as much as I could so they wouldn't slip off.

When I get to the gate it was closed but there are doors on either side of it so I decide to check those. The first one on the right is unlocked and when I open it noise of talk and chatter fill my ears and a foul odor surrounds me.

"Fuck, I forgot that these people don't shower regularly," I plug my nose and slump my shoulders in dissatisfaction. I still need to find out where and when I am.

Straightening out my back I walk around until I see the recognizable symbol of the Garrison Regiment. I hurry over to a tall man with brown hair whose conversing with another one of the Garrison soldiers.

I tap on his shoulder, "Excuse me! Excuse me sir where are we?" He turns around to face me, a look of confusion on his face.

"What? What are you speaking? You got something wrong with you or something?"

What? HUH?! WHAT IS THIS GUY SAYING?!

Then the realization hits me. These people have their own alphabet so it would make sense that they have their own language. I walk away from the man, him still confused.

I'm fucked. I don't know what he said to me and I don't know where I am. What would be the best course of action now? If it's the start of the story then Shiganshina hasn't fallen yet. Fuck. That means that no matter where I am, I have to get to wall Rose.

My footsteps speed up, a sudden anxiety washing over me. I'm pushing past people with no care. And people are looking at me like I'm some wild animal, I'm guessing my attire and hair type isn't that common inside the walls.

Suddenly I bump into something, hard, and fall backwards. "Ugh shit that hurt," I muttered under my breath, trying to stand back up again, but failing. I'm dizzy, I must've hit my head on the way down.

"Are you ok?" A hand reaches out to me. The language is still unfamiliar and sounds like straight up gibberish, and the voice sounds feminine. I grab their hand, and with their help, stand back up this time.

I let go of the person's hand and pat away any dirt on my pants and back. As I'm doing this I notice the person hasn't moved or walked away so I decide to look at them to find out what's up.

But as I slowly look up at what they're wearing I don't even need to see their face to know who it is. The white dress under a pink cardigan with the signature red scarf gave it away. But still, looking at her face just made this situation a reality.

In front of me was, a young, Mikasa Ackerman. Now, I definitely would have been way more excited to meet the best written female character in all of fiction, had this been a different situation, but because of the fact that she's a couple shapes on a screen or lines on a paper this was not the most ideal thing ever.

We stare at each other for maybe minutes, just examining one another. Maybe she knows her and I are the only minorities inside the walls, how funny would that be. Or maybe she can sense I'm not supposed to be here, like an object out of place.

Many pairs of footsteps fill my ears, all coming our way. "Mikasa, come on we need to go to the market!" A boyish voice is heard and Mikasa looks behind her to where the voice came from.

Behind Mikasa were three people, an adults and two other kids. Now it didn't take a genius to find out who she would be with. A brunette boy with green eyes with brown pants and green shirt, a blonde boy with a white shirt and blue cardigan and he too with brown pants. Finally, a women with a brown skirt, a yellow shirt and white apron.

God fucking damn it.
