NORTHWEST, NWR//SUNDAY
The time read 7:36 am on the digital clock next to the bed Giselle laid her head on at night. No longer in that hell house, she was camping out at a friend's house until she was able to find her own place to stay.
"Knock knock knock. I'm going for a run, wanna come?"
"Not today girl, I got some work to catch up on."
"Okay, I'll see you when I get back."
There wasn't much to catch up on if the truth was to be told, Giselle was doing research on her new job's website about getting that Real Estate position and how fast she could obtain it.
So far she's found that in order to get the job she needs to have her IOTG certificate from high school, have a certificate stating that she indeed took the classes prior to taking the agent test and last but most important, her Real Estate licenses in order to sell. All of which she had expect her license.
"Wow, I wasn't expecting all this," she said to herself.
This was a lot to have gotten in such a short time and just then, she knew exactly who to call in a time like this. She picked up her phone off the dresser, going to the contacts and pressing the contact number '911⚠🚩'.
It rang twice before there was a pick up on the other end.
"Yea hello. Michael ammm....imma need you to do me a favor, when can we meet?........Okay, I can do that........See you there," she hung up the phone, putting it back on the charger, place the laptop one side and head to the bathroom down the hall.
Returning to the guest room in nothing but a towel, Giselle head to the closet to pick out a decent outfit to attend today's church service. Most of her clothes weren't seen as appropriate to a congregation and she for sure wanted to make a good first impression.
Spotting a long, over the knee, almost to the ankle nude off the shoulder dress, she was instantly drawn to it. Even forgetting that she once owned this.
"Oh my gosh, I forgot about this."
Giselle laid the dress out and began pairing it with things to put together a look. She placed with it a black strap high heels, black and nude bag and finally jewelry from Tiffany and Co. A pair of matching tear drop earring and necklace gifted to her by along time ex.
She then reverted to the window and made herself a vanity with the office chair and table, to do her hair and makeup. Nothing too glam, just a simple and natural look for makeup; while she moisturized her curls and kept it out, tucked behind her ears.
One last look in the mirror she took before walking out the room at 9:14 am, dressed and ready for today's Sunday service.
"Okay Gissy where you going?"
"To church. How do I look?" She spun around.
"Like you about the bag the pastor, and the bishop. You look so pretty."
"Thank you."
"Have fun and bring me back some refreshments."
"Will do," she said as she left out the town house front doors.
She got into the uber pre-ordered and off to church she went.
