Giselle POV
COUPLE DAYS LATER\\ MONTH END\\ FRIDAY
Today was the day I had to take my exam in order to become a certified real estate agent. Something I've wanted for a long time and that time has now come.
I wanted to have a head start in my day so I got up extra early and ran over a few questions that may come on the exam that gave me trouble in the past. I was also making much use of the text book and test booklet that Simeone lent me to study from; and it indeed made me feel fully prepared for this examination.
30 minutes later, my alarm for 7:35 went off. It was time I began getting ready to leave if I wanted to be out this house by the latest 8:45, in order to get to the Community College where I'm taking my exam by 9:15.
I put away my books and got my stuff to head to my closet to piece together an outfit. I wanted to look like I'm there for business but still sexy, still me.
"Prefect," I said to myself once everything was all laid out and then I hit the showers'.
-AN HOUR LATER-
The time on my phone read 8:39 and I was just doing the the finishing touch for my make-up by using my Morphe setting spray. I stood up took off the silk scarf off my head and my robe, checking myself in the mirror.
My make-up was beat. Natural with glossy lips and sun kissed highlights. My hair was bone straight with baby hair layed. This was all to come together with the black and white stripped long sleeve shirt that went mid thigh; a black belt with silver mirror frames as it buckle around my waist; black strapped high heels; my black MCM bag and to finish it off, I went with Silver accessories.
I was ready both physically and mentally walking out the house to my uber at the curb. I got in, confirmed my identity and so did she then off we went to our destination. But first, I asked for a quick stop at a McDonald's.
When I got in I walked straight to the counter as there was no line.
"Hey good morning."
"Damn you sexy as hell," he look me up and down.
"Thanks," I blushed a little.
"Sorry, that's unprofessional, what can I get you miss?"
"Can I have Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit, small fry and ice tea please," he typed my order and I gave him my card.
"Am....hold on, I'm not getting nothing."
"Try again."
He swiped again, "Nothing."
"Ok, try this one," I gave him another card.
"Still nothing. You know what, it's on me."
"You sure?"
"Yea, it's on me."
I step to the side as he retrieved my order. I'm happy by his offer because I am starving.
"Here you go miss beautiful."
"Thanks," I smiled and took the bag.
"I put my number in there so maybe you should text me sometime."
"Uhmm...maybe."
Just as I got into the car I checked my account and the sight made my blood boil. How in the hell did I now have $0.25 in my bank account. I've never been this low ever, it's always been over $900, never anything less.
