"Guys now stop sulking and let's go collect wood like we've been assigned to." Jimin said cheerfully but Taehyung had other plans.

"Great now im stuck with a 11-year-old boy who's got a sugar rush and a 14-year-old emo teenager." Her eyes shot up in disbelief.

"Excuse you-"

"GUYS I SAID STOP SULKING." Jimin yelled trying to make the situation better, only earning disgusted looks from Yuri and Taehyung.

And he just smiled innocently.

"Ok everyone go in different directions, collect pieces of wood and come back here in fifteen minutes" Jimin said as they nodded. Going slightly deep in the woods she admired her surroundings. She felt relieved to be away from the busy city life where even birds don't show up nowadays

"Damn bugs" she stomped her legs, getting rid of mosquitoes. She finally spotted a bundle of stacked wood near some bushes.

In the middle of nowhere.
Nicely piled up.
With no other stray sticks anywhere.

She gathered all the wood in her hands, not bothering to give it a thought. She obviously had to take the whole pile all at once, which she regretted immediately. Eventually the heavy load became too much for her muscles to hold. She was about to drop it when someone caught it.

"Can't carry sticks? Pathetic." a deep yet provoking voice spoke.

"I-I was trying okay" she stuttered, embarassed he saw her in such a state.

"Try not being a pain in the ass"

"Yahh wait for me!" Yuri yelled running after his big strides. The last thing she wanted was to get lost in this forest. They went near the original spot only to see Jimin humming a song with his shiny earphones plugged in and a pile of wood beside him.

"Kid we're back" Taehyung said dropping the the bundle only to face Jimin's back, too busy grooving to the music to pay attention to what him. Taehyung was about to approach him when he heard Yuri's voice.

"Don't"

In her hands was a brown cricket, the size of her finger. Taehyung leaned against a tree not questioning her as Yuri took her steps forward. She heard Taehyung let out a sigh as if she could almost hear his thoughts.

"Three..."

"Two..."

"O-"

"AAAH-HOLY FUCKING SHIT"

Surprisingly his loud scream left a cachinnated Taehyung and Yuri- physically on the floor.

Jimin plugged out his headphones and ran towards Taehyung with his eyebrows still frozen upwards.

"T-that-"

"You should've seen your face" Yuri's voice was barely understood due to all her laughing, not noticing Jimin's sudden change in expression.

"Ponytail girl"

She glared at him about to get up only for her actions to be cut by him.

"You seem to be getting along really well with the Ace"

Yuri had a direct eye contact with Taehyung which broken right away.
She still felt his stare on her.

Jimin was right, but was it right?

She had no response to him.
She snapped back in reality hearing Taehyung's blank voice.

"You've got dirt on your clothes."

Mortified, she brushed off the grass on her top, her eyes following Taehyung's broad figure who walked away. She looked back at Jimin 'He's done.'

She snatched out his earphones in anger.
"Give me that look once more time and I'll toss these earphones in that lake" she pointed at the lake as Jimin quickly shielded his earphones.

"No, my poor babies" he said in a high, squealing voice making Yuri recoil.

"Yuri a part of the tent has torn out could you help." Jimin yelled from near the tents as Yuri instantly got up nodding.

She was blocked.

"No she is staying with us." Heejin yelled back expressionlessly making Jimin pause for a moment. He looked like he mumbled something yet it wasn't audible.

"Heejin I'll just come back in sometime" Yuri said calmly still trying to take in her odd behavior. Earlier, while setting up the tents, she didn't see Heejin anywhere. When she finally saw her, she said she was having lunch near the lake, but it turned out lunch wasn't even ready. Yuri was worried about her but it wasn't the first time she acted odd. She was always like this when she was on her period- Heejin herself confessed and Yuri noticed it too.

Walking back towards their tent, she held the cloth in place.

"That girl is weird", Jimin cut the silence.

"Pfft what do you know about girls?"
Yuri tried to reassure him. Jimin kept quiet.

It was now evening as everyone was having roasted marshmallows, except Jaebom who apparently was allergic to gelatin.

"Woa these are really good"

Kern said with a mouth full of them making everyone laugh, while some judged him. It felt like the voices were getting muffled due to her attention being on something else.

Yuri looked around only to see Taehyung walking off to somewhere.

"Hey I'll be back"

Yuri whispered, taking a marshmallow on a stick following Taehyung. He walked towards a big rock near the lake, which was quiet far from where they had the campfire.

'Isn't this dejavu?'

She felt like she were witnessing the same scene from some nights back. His back facing her, his head slightly tilted up looking at the moon, his arms resting at his sides carelessly with the hard surface beneath it. Her movements were stalled.

"What are you peeking at like a rat"
