It took my a few seconds to get back to my house. I was a little confused about what Tails meant when he said he got what they went there for. Did we not go there to attack Eggman and destroy his lair? Whatever. I walked into my house and saw them all waiting. "I knew you guys would be waiting in my house, it seems to be your favorite place to go when im not in it haha" I joke and chuckle. I see Tails smile and laugh.
"So. What did you guys mean when you said you got what you came for? Did we not go in there so we could destroy Eggmans lair?" I ask, confusion written all over my face. Tails nods. "Mhm. We did, that was until when destroying one of the robots I found a certain piece of equipment inside of it. It's amazing! With this, we could make tech and things to help enhance our powers, increasing our rate of success!" Tails says, he seemed very, very excited.
I nod. "Oh alright. I don't need my powers enhanced because im already the fastest thing around. " I had a cocky grin on my face after I said that, and I could see everyone noticed it. "Alright Sonic.. If you don't want it you don't have to have it. Though I do recommend." Tails said. I pat his head and give him a compassionate smile. "Don't worry about me buddy, I will be okay." I say as I look up at everyone. "Well. We've been attacking so frequently that Eggman is going to notice our pattern. We need to take a break. I say we hereby take a three week break of fighting, so that when we fight it's least expected." I say.
Everyone looked at me with a face of shock. "What?! Three Weeks?! Thats insane!" Knuckles said. "Yeah! Come on sonic reconsider!" Tails says. I shake my head. "No guys. We need to take breaks or else we will get tired, giving Eggman the perfect chance to attack us while we are down. If Eggman attacks we can obviously fight him back. But only if he does. We will remain defense for three weeks." I say sternly. At this point everyone knew I wouldn't budge so they just decided to agree. "Alright. Whatever you say sonic." Tails says.
"Tails, go work on your new enhancers." As soon as I said that his face lit up. "Yeah your right!" He says excitedly as he flies out of my house, everyone following far behind. I let out a long sigh. "Finally a break." I mumbled. Suddenly I hear something on my room. "What the hell?" I say before Shadow comes crashing through my roof. "WHAT THE HELL?! MY ROOF!" I shout as I look at my roof with a sad expression.
"Get over it, you can get a new one." He says as he sits down on my couch like he owns the place. "The hell? What are you doing in my house!" I shout and sit down, still bitter from what just happened. "Eggman told me to go get information about you." Is all he said. "Psh like im gonna help Eggman get info on me." I scoffed. He chuckled. "I never said I was going to." He said as he crossed his legs on my couch and stared at me.
"Why are you acting so friendly? Aren't you supposed to hate me?" I say, extremely confused. He is on the other side of the war. The evil side. Yet he is acting as if we are friends. "I just have a weird connection to you. Y'know since I was technically based off you, I guess you could say I know you better than anyone in the world." He says with a smirk. I don't believe him. "So are you saying you want to be my friend so you can 'study' me?" I ask confused.
He shakes his head. "No no, I don't want to be your friend. Acquaintance is fine with me." Oh. "Umm okay, I do think your interesting as well so I guess it's fine if maybe we both studied each other?" I asked, a bit cautiously as to not somehow piss him off. He nods. He stands up and walks over to me. He then Places his face right in front of mine and stares in to my eyes with a thinking expression. My eyes go wide and I could feel my face burn up a bit.
"What are you doing?!" I whisper-yell. He backs away, putting his hands up as he does. "I was just looking at your eyes, jeez." He says as he falls back on to the couch with a smirk on his face. I growl a bit. "So are we.. Technically the same person?" I say with a dumb-confused look on my face. He facepalms. "No. We aren't the same person, I was just created based off of you. We are in no way related." He says as I sigh in relief. "So.. How long are you gonna stay here for?" I ask him.
"Until Eggman tells me I don't need to get any more info." He says as he just sits there. Whatever I guess. More time to study him. I throw him the TV remote. "Here, go wild." I say as he just looks at it and nods at me. I watch as he puts on a show and then just sits there.

"So are you gonna do anything other than watch the tv?" I ask him as I sit next to him. "Well you get pissy when I try to study you so for now yes." He scoffed out as he clicked on Netflix and turned on cloudy with a chance of meatballs. "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs? Really?" I ask as I stare at him with a grin on my face. "Tch. Yeah. It's a good movie." He says as he focuses on the movie and not me staring at him. I don't know why but I couldn't help myself from laughing. "HAHAHA! Haah.." I say as I wipe the tears from my eyes.
"What are you laughing at?" He growls and glares at me. "Out of all the movie that you could choose to watch. You chose that shitty ass movie? Haha!" I say as I lean back. "Shitty?! It's not shitty!" He says, I could tell he was getting angry at me making fun of him. Instead of retorting, I just laughed at him more. Suddenly he pounced on me and growled. "Ah! Holy shit!" I shouted as I looked at him. He grinned and started tickling me. "Ah! What HAHA WHAT THE FUCK AHHAHAH ARE YOU DOING?!" I yelled as he continued.
"Im just taking advantage of your weak spot." He said with a bigger grin and continued tickling me. Suddenly I heard tails from outside. We both stopped what we are doing and just as tails opened the door, Shadow was gone. "Hey Sonic! How- What. What are you doing?" Tails asks confused. I was just laying down on the couch, my face a little red as I squirmed a bit. "Uhh. Nothing sorry." I say as I sat up.
