⛵️🕷🕸 extended summary for " the last of us !! "
— It all started the moment the tragedy occurred: the unwanted attention and questions being thrown at her about what her life was like leading up to that moment. She refused to answer them, let alone talk to anyone about it, really, because she didn't want to bring any harm onto her remaining family by reminding them of what happened. Every day since then, she blamed herself, despite her father and sister demanding that nothing about it was her fault. The young girl wouldn't shut up about it, and the grief and depression resulted in a shy and shallow version of who she once was.
— Christina Connors never had the easiest life to begin with; she was surrounded with so much paparazzi that she always wanted to be over whenever she ran into it. She tried to shield herself from it but to no avail. It didn't help that her father was one of the most acclaimed scientists in the country and, possibly, the world. Sure, she was just as intelligent as him, but she didn't want to be known for that. And let's face it; science was her biggest enemy when it came to education. Every time she came across it during her classes, they would be at war and it was never ending.
— The young woman had much more of a passion for writing and she wanted to be known for how creative she was, since she had aced all of her Reading and English classes while growing up. She always liked writing essays, stories, articles and the whole lot; it even led her to writing short novels throughout her school years, but they were never published. They were kept a secret from everyone, because she was embarrassed to show them to anyone.
— Once Christina makes it to her junior year of high school, the stress from the paparazzi and her worries of the future ahead of her really start to weight down on her. She can never get the anxious thoughts out of her head, and also being regarded as one of the most popular girls in the whole school despite her shyness and closed off attitude makes it even worse. She thanks God every day that she has her little sister, Sidney, by her side as well as two other people she's known and has been best friends with since childhood: Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.
— But not all great things can last forever.
— March of 2013 arrives... and everything begins to spiral downhill from there.
— It starts off harmless enough with just regular high school shenanigans that annoy the hell out of her to no end, but she can tolerate it. Then, all of that translates to one of her best friends losing someone that they were extremely close with. And, finally, countless monsters begin stalking the streets of New York City for the following year after this, resulting in a lot of losses, pain, and grief... more grief than Christina will ever be able to imagine. During all of this, however, there is a vigilante crawling across building and swinging through the city in a blue and red spandex costume that catches the blonde's attention.
— At some point, that vigilante's identity is revealed to the woman by accident.
— And Christina will never be able to believe who it really is behind that mask with silver eye lenses . . .
