The next day was a pain, I woke up to the sound of springs in my bed and the only thing causing it, is my brother, Daniel jumping up and down on the end of the bed.

"Wake up, sleepy head!" Daniel screeches with an echo floating behind.

As I head down stairs I am alarmed by a knock on the door, mom on the other hand, rushed as fast as she could leaving a gush of wind behind, causing my hair to go into a knot.

"Coming!" Mom says in this loud and serious tone.

By the time mom was at the door, I sat down at the breakfast bar.

"Hey there, you must be our new neighbours!" Mom cheerfully says as she slightly opens the door.

"Yes, lovely to meet you! I've brought over some homemade carrot cake," A young lady replies with a soft gentle voice. "My names Wendy by the way".

"Oh, I'm Kate. How generous! You didn't have too," Mom replies with a long pause. "And these must be your kids?".

"Yes, this is Lilly and this is James. I asked him to come over and help out, that is if you need any?"

"Well now that I think of it, I actually need the couch inside and Marks gone to the shire office,"

"It's very nice of you to do this you know?" Mom says as I hear footsteps behind me.

"Oh how rude of me. James this is my daughter Abigail," mom says in a rush.

I turn to see who it was and as the eyes stare back I notice its that boy who was running toward the house next door. My cheeks start to turn red and I turn away as quick as I could. I feel his warmth as he comes closer, his eyes resting on me and then my heart skips a beat, again.
