Natasha opened the door to the house.Yelena scoffed. "Do you always keep the door unlocked so anyone can just walk in?" She said sarcastically, looking around.
"Nobody had been here since we were, it's fine," Dahlia said, looking around astonished.
She hadn't been back in this house in what seemed like another lifetime.
The memories and feelings from the last time she had entered this house were playing around in her head.
Her and Natasha planned to break out Yelena here. They spent weeks planning how they would break into the red room and break out Yelena.
"Yelena," Dahlia said with a smile on her face.
The blonde turned around as Dahlia threw something at her.
"Something stronger," The brunette said with a chuckle. Yelena caught it, turning it around to see a bottle of vodka.
"See, that's what I'm talking about," she said with a smile, waving the bottle.
Natasha chuckled, getting out 3 cups from the cabinet.
"So what is so special about this place anyway?" Yelena asked, sitting down on the ground in front of a coffee table, opening the bottle of vodka.
She took a sip right from the top before Natasha and Dahlia even sat down.
"Well..." Dahlia said, sitting down on the ground on the opposite side of the table.
"This was the first place I stayed in after I got out of the red room. The first place I had good memories in." Dahlia said, watching Yelena pour the vodka into a glass for her.
"It's also how I met Natasha," she said after taking a sip of the vodka.
Yelena raised her eyebrows, turning to look at her sister who sat down in a chair. Natasha nodded her head subtly, confirming the truth.
"How did this happen?" Yelena asked over eagerly, looking back and forth between them.
"She tried to kill me," Nat said bluntly, pointing her glass at Dahlia and then taking a sip.
Yelena's eyes widened as she turned to Dahlia.
"You were technically trying to kill me too so it's fair," she said to Nat with a smile.
"Why am I not surprised," Yelena said with a laugh.
"Shield picked up information on their radar and I was sent out here to find her. It wasn't until I tracked her here did I figure out where she came from," Natasha said.
"I didn't really want to kill her though," She said with a laugh.
"Oh well that's good because I kind of really did want to kill you," Dahlia said back, smiling at Nat.
"Oh, I am painfully aware. Literally," she said, making Yelena laugh.
"My money is on Dahli for winning the fight," Yelena said and Natasha gasped dramatically, putting her hand on her heart like she was offended.
"Oh calm down it's true," Dahlia said and Yelena cackled, throwing her head back.
The good energy around the room settled into silence as they all just enjoyed sitting there.
"God, it's been so long, I don't even know when the last time I was here was," Natasha said, looking around at the house.
"Right before we left to go break Yelena out of the red room," Dahlia said. She downed the rest of her drink and then poured more into her cup without looking them in the eyes.
