The next morning Natasha walked up to Dahlia's room."Dahlia?" She asked, knocking on the door but there was no answer.
She slowly and quietly opened the door and walked in, looking around.
Nat didn't see her at first so she walked towards the bathroom where the light was on.
She saw Dahlia through the steamy room from the shower and opened the door a little more.
The brunette stood in front of a mirror, half dressed while putting a shirt over her head and wet hair.
Natasha saw her but her eyes fixated on the number of deep scars that scattered around her back.
"Dahlia..." Natasha said, opened the door all the way.
Dahlia turned around to see her.
"What- happened? Who did that?" Natasha asked, walking over to her. Dahlia knew instantly that Nat was talking about the scars in her back.
"Natasha..." Dahlia said, trying to explain but she was cut off.
"No- are you okay? How did that happen?" Natasha said a little frantically, not hearing Dahlia.
"It's okay..." Dahlia said to try and comfort her but it was no use.
"Are you hurt?" Nat asked frantically.
"Natalia!" Dahlia said louder, putting her hands on Natasha's shoulders and looking at her to get her attention.
Natasha just froze.
"I'm okay, I'm fine, I promise," she said softly, looking into her eyes.
Natasha took a breath, calming down and Dahlia took a step back.
"Was there a reason you needed me?" Dahlia asked, side-stepping Natasha's freak out and pretending it never happened.
"Uh- yeah. Yelena is leaving to get things for the house and told me to ask you if you needed anything," Nat said, her mind running in circles.
"Yeah, yeah okay, I will go talk to her," Dahlia said, putting her hand on Natasha's arm as she walked past her.
She walked out of the room to go talk to Yelena, and to get a breath away from Natasha for a moment.
Natasha took a second to herself before following after her.
Yelena and Dahlia were talking in the kitchen when Nat entered.
"I shouldn't be out too long," Yelena said, picking up a bag. She looked at Natasha who had come around the corner.
She looked her sister up and down.
"You're being weird," Yelena said to her suspiciously and then proceeded to walk out the door.
Natasha just rolled her eyes and turned to see Dahlia was standing in the kitchen with her back to her.
"I can feel you staring," Dahlia said, grabbing a cup from one of the cabinets.
"Dahlia..." Natasha started.
"Natasha," Dahlia said back, mimicking the voice that Nat used as she turned around to look at her.
"Was it him?" Nat asked seriously, looking into Dahlia's blue eyes.
Dahlia didn't say anything, turning to fill up her glass with water.
"Dahli..." Natasha said, stepping closer to her.
"We can help you now" Natasha said softly and Dahlia turned around. Her eyes were so large, like giant blue saucers.
Dahlia nodded her head, holding her cup with one hand and grabbing Natasha's hand with her other. She walked over to where the couch was and sat down.
