The grass was so green I thought I was high. I wanted to taste it but then I saw the swing almost hiding from us. It was hanging from the perfect branch on one of the larger oaks in the area. We didn't even have to look at each other before we started sprinting towards it to see who got to try it first. And guess who won? No, not me because I let Fay win, of course as the good friend I am, which I also told her.

"No way, don't lie to me Avery." She was getting higher and higher up and her the smile painted on her face was worth a million dollars.

We laughed at each other but her smile faltered and looked at her weird.

"Really? Again, you know they're looking for you butterfly." Shit, Curly.

"Who are looking for me?" I ask nicely while fluttering my lashes. Fay was almost at stop on the swing and watched it all carefully.

Styles is wearing armor today so he looks very intimidating and I couldn't fight those muscles underneath it if my life was hanging on it.

"Everyone, haven't you been to town? No of course you haven't." He takes slow steps toward me and his eyes never leaves mine.

"Do I have the pleasure of you telling me what it was all about?" I almost roll my eyes but decide to smile instead.

"You are still wanted by the prince and now it is a reward for turning you in."

I never leave his eyes but I start backing away and Fay has jumped of the swing and is already out of site. Sure Ophelia leave me here with this ripped knight that's probably going to assault me and then bringing me to the lovely prince.

But why would her prince want me, its not that I'm really the prettiest, smartest or wealthiest girl around here.

I almost trip over a root and a giggle escapes me. What the fuck Avery, what was that. Idiot.

"You think this is funny" he too has a lopsided smile painting his face that he tries to wash off.

"No." I deadpan but start laughing even more, now I'm definitely pissing him off. I probably should tell him what I want written on my gravestone before he slits my throat. Very funny idiot.

He stops in his tracks while I bend over almost screaming in laughter before he strides over in three big steps and cover my mouth with his hand. I almost fall over but he put his arm around my waist so I'm trapped. I stop laughing and the adrenaline takes over.

I look him in the green sea of eyes before licking his hand, which he just as planned pulls back in disgust and cuss out loud. I manage to not laugh at my smartness but start sprinting.

The last thing I see is his eyes widen when he realize I'm escaping and I start running with everything I have away from him with my dress making me stumble a couple of times but I soon I'm far away from the green-green grass and somehow end up stumbling into the same bushes as before where Fay now is hiding.

She shrieks when our wide eyes meet. Jesus holy Christ. Wait, right I probably should start praying more because I feel like its going south.

"Av, you scared me to death!" Fay exclaims.

"No Fay you're still very much alive. But you left me with Styles!"

"Sorry." She shrugs.

We start laughing our asses off, but we shut up when we hear loud voices outside the branches.

"You said you got her!" A voice echoes close by.

"Moron, she escaped with her friend I didn't feel like running in the armor." Is it really? No, again?

"WE DID NOT GO THROUGH ALL THAT FOR YOU TO WASTE OUR CHANCE." A third voice booms and birds are screaming of fear.

Jesus that was loud as fuck.

"Calm down they're going to come back" Yes it is Curly again, what's the odds like for real.

The first voice who is clearly annoyed at Curly and asked him a bit quieter how he knows it and he didn't say anything until they were right in front of the bushes.

"Well her mother also wants to give her away to the prince for the fame and money, so that's one way."

I gasped but put my hand over my mouth, I couldn't even trust my mother?

"She could always be seen by someone. It's not like everyone is looking for her." He said sarcastically.

"And she is way too curious for her own good. She's going to be captured either way." He stopped talking and I could see their shoes a few meters from our hiding place. We laid as still as we could and tried not to breath.

"But we could have gotten the reward and finally have some freedom!" The first voice echoed, I recognized him to be Liam.

"You know we will never get that, don't get your hopes up." The third voice whispered.

They finally continued and I just looked over at Fay and we locked eyes. We mouthed "Fuck" at the same time and ended up snorting at our comment.

Please heavenly lord forgive me for my sins and I swear, well already did that, to please you, just don't let the prince get me.
