As I stare into the eyes of this vampire I just met I see something. I see curiosity in his beautiful stone gray eyes. "Do you know what you are?"" I know that I have to drink human blood to stay alive, and the person that changed me told me something about "a blood-sucking demon" but.... No I don't have a clue." "Well, I'll be happy to tell you all about us and what we are, but I need to shower first. Don't want to get blood on everything at mi casa!" He laughs a full hearted and joyous laugh, and I think I'm in love. "Well come on... What's your name?" "The names Damon, Damon Salvatore. May I ask yours?" "Elena, Elena Gilbert." I try to mimic him, and turns out of did it pretty well because he is now rolling on the ground dying of laughter. "Come on silly head lets go!" "Oh... We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of -" "Shut -laugh- up -laugh-" I say barely being able to keep up with his vamp speed. He is strong for such a newbie. I mean I know I am too, but dang. He stops abruptly, and I crash into his back. We both fall to the ground, him below me, and our faces are inches from each other's. I feel I am being sucked into the deep gray caverns of his eyes. He stares at me as I look at him, and then all of the sudden we are kissing. The kiss is passionate as his soft pink lips press against mine. He is very talented at this, then I feel a pang of something and I realize... I'm jealous. Of what? He hasn't said that he has a girlfriend. I cannot believe I even thought about that. I open my eyes and pull back from the kiss. My face burns like an inferno, but I am relieved when I see him blushing too. "Well let's not just sit out on my front porch like uncivilized people, let's go inside!" I get up, unlock my door, and then -THUNK- I turn around to see Damon fighting with the air to try and get into my house." Oh My Gosh Damon I'm sorry I forgot that the house has a human in it so you have to be invited inside. JEREMY!" I then hear my little brother rushing down the stairs to see what I need. "Jer tell Damon he can come inside our house." "Okay! Damon Salvatore you may come inside our humble home." "Thank you Jeremy. Did you just compel your own brother?" "I have to he is a disgrace to this planet... I should just drink him and be along with my life." "Why don't you just do it?" "He's the only family I have left. Our parents died in a car accident four years ago, my aunt Jenna was killed by an Original, and our legal guardian was turned into a psycho vampire hunter. I don't want to loose him to even though I want him to loose himself and never find his way back!!" I say laughing. "Well have a seat over here and I will teach you everything there is to know about vampirism."
