What if Esix was taken by Zerif instead of Urza

Chapter 3

Before this chapter starts, I forgot that Kirat and Tasha existed lol. So they are gonna randomly pop in. I didn't feel like changing everything I had written for the two previous chapters.

"Why are we heading towards a volcano?" Abeke had heard Rollan ask of unpleasure. Abeke tightened her grip on Shane's hand.

"It's were we have camp set up... well, more like a giant tunnel system." Shane answered. "We have everyone who summoned one of the great beasts." Shane looked back down at Abeke, and their eyes met. Abeke could feel her entire face turn red. 

"That's great!" Tasha exclaimed, running up next to Abeke and Shane. "I can't wait to meet more people. But first- did Zerif take their spirit animals?" Tasha's smile faded into a frown. "I can make them feel so much better though. I bet they all need a hug!" She smiled. As Tasha went to open her mouth to speak again, Kirat covered it with his hand.

"Shut up Tasha, you don't need to talk that much" Kirat said, rolling his eyes. Caraboa roared beside him. 

"Well, it's sorta a surprise" he grinned. 

They walked for what Abeke felt like was forever. Finally, they had reached the entrance.

"Stay on the sides. Even though the volcano is dormant, lava still seeps through." Abeke almost slipped off the edge but Shane grabbed her hand in time. He then pulled her close. "Abeke, stay close. Rollan, you make sure Tasha and Kirat don't get too close to the edge" 

At the entrance, Redcloaks greeted them. "Welcome back, King" they bowed, letting them through.

"King, really?" Rollan broke into laughter. "That is the most ridiculous name ever" both Shane and Abeke gave him a nasty, anger filled glare. "Okay, okay" 

"I would like you to meet  Niri"
